In a caster cleave as Fire you’re right you don’t… and it was really stupid, I’m glad its gone. But Fire in an RMP doesn’t really use it, I didn’t touch that awful spell and I know many high rated Mages that didn’t use it outside of a caster cleave also. Thats why I kept saying if you take a Mage thats only played MLX to 2400 and put him in an RMX he’d get farmed because people don’t need to kick Greater Pyro when a Mage plays RMP because its not as good as short combust so you have to create the situation to cc without Greater Pyro granting you free kicks.
Thats how it sounded anyway, but not all of their cc’s are close range, Imprison, Fel Eruption are both ranged for example, you can use those to peel or stop a cc.
But I’m not flaming you for playing a DH, my problem was you say DH is comparable to alot of other classes in skill while its not, its alot easier than many of those classes in BFA anyway, don’t know about Shadowlands etc.
Sorry, as I said… I can’t understand clown. Try putting whatever you are saying into Google translate and see if they support the translation from Clown to English. If they don’t you’re out of luck I just won’t be able to reply as I can’t tell what you are saying. Thanks, best of luck.
Sorry I don’t know how many times I need to say, I really can’t understand clown… please post in English, if that’s not possible then we can’t communicate.
No one has said that mages arent broken. Both Rogue and Mage are literally always strong when it came to PvP. Atleast I dont remember one time in my 15 years where Mage or Rogue have truly struggled in that department.
Instead of spamming the thread with him you should know it better and just not give people like that any attention.
Thats because of the class synergy, everything a Mage struggles with a Rouge can enable a Mage against and vise versa. If you wanted to break that synergy you’d need to completely redesign both classes from the ground up. But you’d end up with a Rouge with no stuns and a Mage with no Poly.
I don’t mind, its clearly annoying him. Look at his reaction to it.
Perhaps you dont see it as much as I do when I post on this Char and play it all the time ingame. But everyone complains about the two buttons DH has, be it in forums, ingame, youtube comments or on a Discord.
It is your forum vacation, not mine. Enjoy Shadowlands launch as Frost buddy.
But wouldn’t you agree? DH has the potential to be a really skilled spec, but that’s just not how it’s been made, a lot of the mechanics are very foolproof, namely leech, mana rift, Legion+BFA BD, iframes etc.
If BD had a higher cost and was a dps loss, you had to use mana break over mana rift, higher CD on Blur and had to relie on souls to heal, then it’d already be a lot more skillful.
I am not disagreeing. I would love if DH came out as it should have been in TBC with 3 talent trees and indepth and everything. I would love if they gave first blood baseline, gave Bloodlet back, old Fel Barrage, away from Mana Rifting and back to “proper” burst damage. I cant change that when I want to play this class so badly.
I think the Blade Dance dodge could have stayed if it was the tanky option in the tree and not the best solution for everything. Unfortunately nothing has changed but pruning the dodge so you still are forced to use it in PvP atleast.
In PvE pre-patch DHs even took off Blade Dance off of their bars because of its low damage.
Iirc the damage would be viable at 7 targets in AoE. Its capped to 5…
