The current devs are a joke, they don’t know what the core of classic WoW is. Giving us random quests on a loop to grind rep and XP while neglecting all the other content in World of Warcraft. We’re no slave nor lab rats grinding in circles on the same spot.
Bring Jeff Kaplan back. He will save this mess

you cant bring back the golden age of gaming because it directly interferes with the mentality of the consumer these days. aka - GoGogog, unable to socialise, ADHD, purple nice me raid log but never use purple, other smelly things
also the CEO’s are more interested in spreadsheets that manipulate the consumers psychology rather than making good product, thx

Yup. Even so, He would definitely do it better than these jokers
Jeff Kaplan sucked though.
I accept it as a difference of oppinions. But while I severely dislike the choices made by who ever is in charge of Feral cat changes, I have to say in general I really like the classic team. All 2 of them + the intern who is working every second week only on the weekends/part time.
The reality is what I have always said, and you could only see it after p1 was done. The budget of SoD is a joke, and the classic team is very small and has to focus on both SoD and Cata.
Naturally non of this is doable, and once again Blizzards greed is killing its own games.
If this team had more devs, and a higher budget, im sure we would see some really good stuff. As it stands now, you can tell they are just tossing w/e at the wall so the new phase is not empty and void of all content like p2 was.
Is it good for the game ? No. But its not really the devs that are to blame, but Blizzard leadership.
Also, you cant “bring back” what does not want to work at Blizzard.
The reality is what Steve Jobs said, the talent that made the company what it is, and a near monopolly is over time rooted out by people who make money for the company, marketing and sales. And they have no idea or understand what a good or a bad product is. So over time the talent leaves (Like they almost all did at Blizzard), and all we have is the sales people putting more stuff in the shop and cutting costs on the devs.
