Yo, druid changes on the PTR?

Restoration

New Talent: Master Shapeshifter – Your abilities are amplified based on your current shapeshift form, granting an additional effect.
Bear Form – Ironfur grants 30% additional armor and generates 2,500 mana (at level 70).
Cat Form – Rip, Ferocious Bite, and Maim deal 60% additional damage and generate 10,000 mana (at level 70) when cast with 5 combo points.
Moonkin Form – Wrath, Starfire, and Starsurge deal 30% additional damage and generate 2,500 mana (at level 70).

Why can’t we get benefits from shapeshifting to other forms as the other specs? Why is it only ever resto? Why do we have to stay in cat form as ferals, moonkin form as balance and bear as guardians while resto druids get benefits from going into other forms? Not only has resto been the ones that don’t have to stick to one form, now they also get additional benefits from going into them.

Why is resto the only one that actually shapeshifts?

I dunno, Feral druid in M+ yesterday swapped to Bear to catch the Chain Lightning cast in VP last boss for reduced damage. Went to cast wrath in night elf form for the 2 seconds he had to wait before the boss teleports to the cage in intermission. Actually using his entire kit.

I get where you are coming from but even Boomkins go catform to use Dash/Tiger Dash. Or shift out of boomie to use Wildcharge in neutral form for the dash to ally.

I agree that these changes make it so resto druids get more bonusses when shaping into cat/bear etc with the mana regen but thats mainly because resto druid damage is really low in comparison with others and we need to use a global cooldown to shift into a form to even start dealing normal damage. (+ we actually have mana issues unlike holy paladins but I guess other healers do too)
