You ALMOST got the crafting right Blizzard

The amount of untradable items created via crafting is staggering.
Why not let people farm, craft, trade, sell, buy without any restrictions?

Wow you crafted a great potion! A great sword!! But we are sorry you can’t trade it :((
You can only hope that someone will request it via crafting orders and pay you 100g tip :))

Like what is the point of all these artificial barriers?
Just let the people create the economy, let them buy, let them sell freely!!!
There is litteraly no point of making or farming items if 3/4 of them are untradeable!!!
Look at the other MMO’s!
The healthy economy is what keeps the game going, why are you so stuck on creating artificial barriers when it comes to trading blizzard?!
If someone has time to spend farming or earning gold it’s the only right thing to do to let them buy even their WHOLE MAX LVL set!!!

You can’t just yank something from another game and put it here. There’s games where your wallet gets you into the most powerful spaceship, but if someone claims it’s p2w the whole community would point and laugh while encouraging him to give it a try. Those games have different rules.

The soulbound upgrade matrices and infusions are there so people don’t feel forced to spend 2 million gold on buying crafted gear in order to be competitive.

Who said anythign about 2 million gold crafted gear? with a good enough economy you aint gonna inflate prices like that

No one would HAVE to buy anything.
You can gear up by killing rares, doing dungeons, doing raids.
Buying gear would be just another way of gearing up.
If someone have gold to afford it let them buy it.

It’s gonna make the game pay to win you say?
Why are all the dungeon and raids boosts fine then?

Such amount of untradeable items is just bad for people who like to craft/farm and trade.

letting us trade with most of the items would also mean getting rid of those stupid booster companies, you can’t tell me it’s a bad thing

Just like nobody “had to” buy the crafted legendaries in SL to be invited to higher raids and M+. (I know they technically didn’t have to, but it’s what most of the community believed).

Actually, some M+ players complained about having to buy raid boosts for their bis pieces to be invited to higher keys. I can’t verify whether it’s true, but the point is: any power gain that’s available becomes a baseline expectation for mid-high end content.

No it’s totally different. You HAD to buy it because it was designed that way .
In this expansion we don’t have items like that, even if all gear was tradeable

Sorry but what are you even talking about?
What do you mean they HAD to buy raid boost?
Why they didn’t go raid with a guild then?
Plus what does it have to do with the issue of untradeable items

We’re essentially talking about making raid/dungeon gear tradeable, since trading primal infusions would let someone acquire max level items without setting foot in an instance.

“but how is this different from buying boosts”.

It’s not. I just think it’s against the spirit of THIS game. Though it’s blizz you have to convince, not me.

Imo this crafting system is a bonus loot/bad luck protection that’s meant to increase our ilvl gain/month so we can outgear content faster and reduce the number of guilds that burn out between tiers.
WoW doesn’t have enough sandbox elements to facilitate free item trade.

Because ppl will find a way how to abuse it. Period. Like everything else in this game, it has to be restricted because some individuals.

Ytube video : OMG THIS IS SO BROKEN, I FOUND A WAY HOW TO MAKE 10MIL/HOUR, GET YOUR 450 ILVL IN 2 HOURS, INSANE, GONE WRONG!!!

I agree with you, but they’ve created the crafting order system to tackle that instead of simply turning all crafted gear BoE. Perhaps it’ll be a step in that direction.
