Okay, so i just. came back into this game. i have not played legion. just started it. on horde side leveled to 102 and quit. i am no alliance. bought BFA .boosted 110 so i could start and find void elf. but to do so i need the achivement You Are Now Prepared!.. but i cant find where to start it. i tried following this guide https://www.wowhead.com/comprehensive-argus-guide and it says… " To unlock Assault on Broken Shore your character needs to hit level 110 then head to the Violet Citadel in Dalaran and complete the quest: Uniting the Islesoffered by Archmage Khadgar " but nope it does not
From what i remember, you have to be Friendly with the factions in Legion.
Since you didn’t play the legion, it’s the requirement you need to meet.
It may suck, I know, but you have to go through Legion questing (at least partially) to get Friendly rep and unlock further content, then grind reputation on Argus to finally unlock Allied Races.

Good luck to you, I really don’t envy you the grind you’re about to embark on. I quit during Legion, came back at the start of BfA and quit after a week. Really wanted the allied races but I hate Argus with a passion lol it’s taken a few weeks to get to exalted for both reps in Augus but it was worth it. Really like both the allied races x
grind not so bad, revered with alliance races now
