I am originally an English EU player, and have downloaded the русскии language pack for WoW, yet receive this message… indeed, when I try and play on any other language’s server (German, French, Spanish, Italian) it lets me through without blocking me unlike the Russian servers. Why the inconsistency? The only difference in concept is that Russian uses largely a different alphabet while the other languages have them somewhat blended in.

With the Russian game client you can only play on Russian servers. If you want to play on a different language realm, you’ll need a different language game client.
