You can level Khazalgar skinning on lvl 10 never getting to Khaz Algar

the white elekk from the love daily, when skinned, gives khazalgar skinning. my lvl 10s have khaz algar skinning and every time I skinned it, I got a point.
It, however, grants you knothide leather.
