I still have to honor cap my priest to upgrade 5 pieces iirc as it is
the grind for honor is harder then for conq. thats why its better imo to play on the alt itself rather then farm most of the conq on main. like sending over if u already have conq to spare but then start playing on the alt so u also gain honor on him is the way.
ye on lvl 60 bg’s seem to be quite a misrebale way to farm honor. i rather spam 2s and skirms. best way would be low cr rbg’s but to get into good groups for ez wins there u need high gear.
overall, it is still weird to allow players to get gear for their alts from their main character, but then make it random. Either Blizzard completely owns the fact that they want you to spend as much time as you possible can playing the game while you’re subbed, hoping that it will make you stay subbed for longer, or they make it easier your you to get the gear for your alts. But having randomness introduced once again in that form is a half-hearted attempt at making players’ life easier in my opinion : they want you to think “yay, i can gear my alts faster that way”, but in reality it’s not that much better, if ou have to buy 30 pieces of gear to get 15 that will eventually be useful. Don’t you think it’s weird ?

well you cant allow to just get specific conq gear from ur main to ur alts. would be way to ez and fast but thats just my opinion.
Well I don’t know, I would’nt see a problem in that because in the end the hardest part is upgrading the gear. I honestly think that allowing you to get specific gear would be nice. It’s not as if you were going to be a major problem for other players if you start with baseline conquest gear, whereas if you have to start from 0, it takes quite some time to get the full conquest gear set. In the end, doing that would only make it faster for people who want to play pvp with their alts to be able do so.
many people would probably appreciate this. me personally not. i dont like to have all chars fully geared in pvp BIS gear just by default (even tho it still has to be upgraded ofc). for me thats not how an mmorpg should be. i like the fact that i have to do stuff to get gear.

One thing people don’t realize, the BOA conq gear bypasses basic gear farm, as when you’re fresh 60 you legit have 0 gear.
With BOA gear, you can just simply funnel all conq into alt,and then do 1400>do brawl till full upgrade>do 1600>do brawl>full upgrade>do 1800>brawl>do 2100<>full upgrade, in 2 days you’re full 259.
If you are a regular human who wants to sleep during those 2 days, not really feasible.

think it makes more sense to use it as a way to get some use out of spare conquest on main. i sent some boxes to my priest and got some upgrades because basically everything is an upgrade early on. this way i can have maybe half conquest gear when i q which is pretty good as a starting point. i wouldn’t really farm on my main specifically for it.

i get full gear with my dk but only weapon is missing, can it obtain in the chest or not ?
You Can get weapon from them aswell, got 2h Staff on my monk from it
then iam just unlucky, buying so many chests, full geared but no weapon but 4 necks !
I bought 12 chests and got 1 wep, so not super high odds, but Great usage of unneeded conquest on fully geared chars:)
From 2 crates for my dh:
-1 weapon
-1belt

I opened 11 boxes on my hunter and roughly had iirc between 3 to 5 duplicated pieces if memory serves me well though I want to say it was likely the latter than prior
I was lucky i sent 20 boxes to my pala and got all slots I think, including weapons for 2 specs xD
