And clearly
this is way better to play your alts and spam arena or RBG and give stuff to your alts
Than playing in random battleground and get honor gear with your alts.

so if my “main” doesn’t have max gear yet, can I just buy the box for my main and get a cheaper piece in this way?

Yes, you must be this tall to buy the rng box.
Srsly- the only requirement is 1400 rating on the char buying it. NOT the alt.

Or is it maybe like the rating upgrade system which means you needs you to get 1 win above that rating per week to be eligible?

Absolute joke and infuriating system, it can go to hell for all I care.
I farmed 4500 conquest ( !!! ) and bought 12 crates, guess what I got:
- 5 trinkets ( 3 being exactly the same item), but only can use 1 because I need the PvP trinekt obviously.
- 3 wrists ( all being exaclty the same item)
- 1 Back
- 2 Shoulders.
- 1 Waist.
So after all that hard work, out of 12 crates I have 5 items to equip, i deleted the rest out of anger and frustration.
What is going on? Fix this bs, make them AT LEAST Rotate the slots, or not repeat the slots, OR GOD FORBID make them slot specific tokens.
There is zero motivation to grind 5000 conquest again and play the slot machine, where I might only get 1 item?? That is time spent I will never get back.

So you got 5 conquest items super easily for you most likely mega under geared alt.
And you got atleast 2 different trinkets to swap between depending on comp/talents.
All without needing to get one tapper on your alt?
Its not perfect. But its a gift to be able to finally do this.

Most of the items I got would have costed 500-700 from the vendor, with the exact stats I wanted. I hope you are joking right? Won’t even tell you whats wrong with your comment if that is really your opinion.

well u got unlucky. sad for u but get over it. use the conquest gear u got its still 4 pieces with mainstat. its better then earning the conquest on your alt if your massively undergeard. also use the comp stomp this week to get desired honor-pieces to 233 if u got the renown for it. like at some point u shuld also be able to que with ur alt on low rating earning conquest + honor quite ez. blizz gave u enough options its time to cut the whining.
Or maybe you should stop the pathetic shilling for Blizzard when they themselves admited non-slot specific tokens are a failure, as they had changed the Korthia tokens to be slot specific? Get over yourself for a second, maybe other people value their time and don’t want to no-life brawl to get 233 honor pieces that are useless if you wanna do real pvp, that have no further upgrade path, against conquest gear.

just comparing korthia 200 ilvl gear with conquest gear is stupid in itself. u realize that the changes of buying slot specific korthia and random conq were released the same patch? they didnt admit anything with these changes.
if ur too lazy to take advantage of an ez option to get full honor-gear on ur alt then thats a you problem. with that u are rdy to q nonstop and farm ur whole cap so u can get the exact conq pieces u want. but ye too much effort for u. maybe play a moba or sth. but i assume there u mad because u start every game with no items instead of full gear either.

Its definitely a start but the climb is still disgusting cause you still gotta grind honor which you get 0 from in arena atleast
The conquest gear is mad easy to get now - got my monk almost fully geared from last seasons in two evenings… most of it upgraded 4x too. It’s 1000000% better for an alt now
If you level up in the battlegrounds, it’s hardly a issue, with the missing pieces and your 15k honor you can buy the honor gear missing slot where you dion’t have the conquest one. and then while climbing the 1400 you can start upgrading your conquest while having farmed the honor in battlegrounds while leveling.
That how i geared all my alts in shadowland S1 : from level 50 you spam battleground and from 50-60 i could get the honor cap
Personnaly every of my alts i spam battlegrounds leveling between 50-60, so you start level 60 with full honor, meanwhile you do world quest while you wait for queue and you should be 15k honor if fast queue , 10k honor if slow queue.
That how i’ve done it in Season 1. and so they all started with rank 1 of honor gear before 9.1.5,
Edit : below level 50, the arena skirmishes proc a lot, but the battleground proc too but lower (like 15 minutes, so go quest meanwhile)
