You can still login the accounts without gametime to inspect which characters you have on said game accounts. At the battle.net client game tab, Account dropdown you can select which one to login to and then select your realm and see your characters

I’m not sure what you are saying here.

You should be able to log in as far as the character selection screen to see your characters. Without game time you cannot go into the game on your characters but you CAN see them on the character select screen.

You can log in but not play any character over level 20.

Thats the thing. I can’t login to see the charecters it always asks for subscription whatever i do.

Classic realms require subscription.

You can log into retail and see your characters but not classic as it requires a subscription.
