Comparing their respective fight sequences - that is totally wrong.
Arthas never had a Jaggernaut strenght to crack the ICC flor nor did he wield Telekinesis potent enough to throw house sized boulders at the enemy with one hand.
Arthas never did summon a remortless winter - not when we fought him, not when he fought Illidan nor when he fought Udyr.
Take Frostmourne and Bolvar wipes the floor with Arthas, and even with Frostmourne it would be an interesting fight.
That being said, the whole magic arrows destroying said boulders, magic banshee vanishing and magic chains out of nothing binding one of the biggest badasses ever is lame. And why? Cuz of magic ofc.
Magic in WoW had set rules till now, now tho? It’s a Deus Ex thingy, which is able to do whatever writers want it to without concern of estabilished rules / guidelines for it.

Shje has been ruining game plots and lore ages now. She did same for Assassins creed story too (in comics), and now she has given free reign in Warcraft. I doubt she has got her job due her skill, but … yeah well… I’d get forum ban, when speak freely. But it wasn’t about her writing.

I hate SJWs as much as any sane person would (which is a lot) but Sylvanas is a beloved warcraft character dating back to before wow even came out.
To make her pure evil and turn against everything she once stood for just to start the battle for azeroth would have been bad writing and would have upset a large proportion of the playerbase.
She has an end game and this expansion looks set to reveal it.
You just need to relax and realise not every capable woman in media is feminists ruining things. She earned where she has gotten.
