About 99% of Arthas’ power came from Frostmourne, which is why everything was focused on it in Wrath, and why breaking it instantly ended the fight against him.
Bolvar has the power to control undead, but in a 1v1 fight, he is trash tier compared to Arthas.
Heck, even the chosen DK in Legion, especially the Frost DK, was likely already much stronger than Bolvar.

actually in lore illidan almost killed arthas but arthas got a lucky strike in illidan’s over confidence was his undoing

Tbh the only thing that would make me come back is that the spells / traits given by the covnent are actually good and truly change the gameplay.
I will take being beaten by Arthas over being the B*tch King of a Goth Waifu, thank you very much.
I like my version better though

I think this is all a build up to show just how messed up crazy her secret power is, without actually giving away wtf it actually is just yet.

what we learned today is that nothing is safe from blizzard.
exspect to see sylvanas escape at the end of shadowlands and then go and kill illidan, onley reason she is still alive is beause of her feminism armor.
I hate the fact we’re having to escalate things and a threat every expansion. It’s getting to a level of DBZ villains of a season. The previous was so strong they could destroy everything, but this here now, oh boy, things are getting serious now
