It was indeed a troll topic. Because 234523412432423 topics about how alliance was favored by blizzard with that 30%. Now when the bonus was rolled nobody baths an eye.

The whole system was designed like that. It was suppose to motivate horde players to switch to alliance. Obviously its not something that happens in a week or 2. Eventually the bonus will equal.

Happy now? No, not really, still outnumbered on my Warmode Shard, as I have been since BFA launched, Still the outnumbering Faction gets a higher buff, and they still get a welfare Item, so, no, Still biased against and the Alliance still get the freebies despite outnumbering us. Yay!

Please, nobody have used those topics since wednesday. Besides this is a different topic. The other topics are about the horde whining about the Alliance turning wm on because they have been given a reason.
This however is a topic about mentioning how suddenly you dont hear any wm complaints anymore now it has gone back to hordemode xD
So far in Season 2, WPvP has given me:
- A 375 ilvl sword.
- A bunch of 360 / 365 (WF) items, including trinkets, from Secret Supply Chest.
- A 385 ilvl ring from the weekly Chest.
- And Iām in line to get a 385 Azerite helm once I reach 500 Conquest points (probably Monday).
Thatās just from doing the Faction Assaults, and does not include the extra Alliance WPvP bribe items. Thatās a load of extra gear for doing nothing more than having Warmode turned on for content I do anyway. I think thatās enough of a reason without the 20% bonus or free Alliance WPvP items.
Having said that, something did have to be done to balance the Horde / Alliance WPvP split. I turned on Warmode for BfA early on in the expack, but quickly had to turn it off because I was getting ganked so often it was taking twice as long to grind rep through WQs. The imbalance in WPvP could only have been addressed by encouraging a load of Alliance players to turn on Warmode all at once, and the 400 ilvl bribe did that. Hopefully, Warmode will remain āOnā for enough Alliance players despite the drop in bribery.
I think what some of the Horde moaners donāt understand is that Alliance isnāt actually a real thing. Itās not a real army and thereās no social obligation on Alliance players to have Warmode switched on for the good of the Alliance. Itās not like the Horde will actually invade Boralus Harbor if we have it switched off, they arenāt going to loot our bank or kill all the vendors. Thereās no reason to keep it on other than fun or reward. If the Horde are too many, Alliance players get no fun and no rewards, so thereās no point - why should a single Alliance player turn Warmode on and get ganked every five minutes just on the off-chance that enough Alliance players do the same thing at the same time to make it worthwhile?
In the real world, the leaders of a country who wanted to fight a war but couldnāt persuade enough people to join up voluntarily would get many soldiers through either bribery (mercenaries) or conscription (normal people). Blizzard canāt draft Alliance players into Warmode, so theyāve had to bribe them.
If that made you turn it off, then you should be praising the allies that had wm on before the lvl 400 item. because the Alliance wm experience was many times worse than what you experienced when the Alliance could get the free 400 item. I wont be turning wm on for sure this week. if we wont get a 400 item (thats fine with me) atleast let us keep the 30% buff because before the free item 30% wasnt even enough to make people turning on wm. How the heck is 20% going to encourage people to turn on horde mode so they can wq take 10 times longer to do due to the constant corpsecamping from the horde over the months.
Wm is a gigantic mess. I canāt wait for the classic servers so we can have pvp servers again. But for a faction war expansion blizz certainly destroyed pvp. Scaling in bgs, no pvp gear or real pvp vendors, removing pvp servers and then giving us hordemode: the corpsecamping experience

How is it āhordemodeā? Bonus getting from 30% to 20% means that ratio is getting closer to 50/50 than before.

If there wasnt alliance raids camping fp`s constantly, there probably would still be horde players waiting patiently in line for you to finish the stone golem, unless someone on your āteamā thinks they saw a hordie alone, starts shooting and immediately gets whipped by the horde waiting right behind themā¦
You brought this on yourselves, we didnt even need a bribe to kill you.

Iām sick and tired of Alliance players taking a pop at Horde players for two completely different situations that arose as of Blizzard screwing up WM. Neither needs to gloat at the other.
