You happy now Horde?

Well. You got what you wanted first. me and plenty of others stopped using warmode to make sure less of you get a freebie ilvl 400 gear.

Now enjoy only 10% extra bonus in comparison to horde. Freebie times do come to an end at some point.

Lol. This is working like blizzard intended. Horde dominated wm. Blizz implemented 30% buff and welfare loot. More alliance turned wm on. Due to flightpoint ganking some horde started to turn wm off.

Stuff is beginning to balance out. More alliance with wm on= less % wm buff.
10% buff on both sides and no welfare loot is what they are aiming for.

To bad your ilvl 400 shiney doesnā€™t contribute to your IQ.:joy:

It wonā€™t balance out. As soon as extra privileges run out, Alliance players will go back to no warmode, and horde players will turn warmode back on.

What this change, SPECIALLY that 400 ilvl , did was to make sure that warmode turns into camp mode with an army of raids hanging out around flight points to individually farm and kill people while theyā€™re in a 20 man groups or at least, sharded into a zone which 20 of them are there.

They didnā€™t fix anything. They fixed some statistics. But they obliterated any chance of a proper pvp warmode by introducing that freebie 400ilvl gear.

Still dislike the PvE incentives and the imbalance in incentives. Give us War Mode vendors and currencies that drop from players and PvP-related War Mode only activities.

Give us War Mode capture points across Azeroth that give bonuses through PvP-effort.

Bring War to Azeroth.

Honestlyā€¦come on.

Who didnā€™t see this coming? We all know Blizzard by now.

They are never consistent with anything.

They could have merged servers and avoided all of this nonsense but instead they try to protect their image and not do what is right for the game.

Just back and forth.

Change change. Buff and nerf.

Godā€¦ughā€¦whyā€¦

ā€¦But Horde will still get their heads smashed into paste for 20%.

No need to point the obvious.

Replying to me quoting yourself?

The reality of course is that the whole situation is neither the fault of Horde or Alliance but of Blizzardā€™s complete failure to create a balanced and fair system that would ā€˜encourageā€™ players to participate. Before someone yaps on about how war isnā€™t balanced etc, this is a game, that we all pay for, and so should all have a fair means of enjoying. Iā€™ve turned WM off now as it just canā€™t do any questing, Iā€™ll pop it on when I want to do pvpish stuff (I say ish as what we have now if far removed from genuine pvp). Playing on an rp realm itā€™s just taken me half an hour of repeated corpse running from logging in to even get somewhere to turn wm off as the horde base is being camped to death.

What the % change has done is absolutely nothing as far as rp realms go. The only difference is those on Alliance that now see that faction alone get more xp, more AP, conq points (as they can do invasions with wm on) and a free gear item so why turn it off. Iā€™ve never played on a realm where the Horde outnumbered Alliance in Warmode. It sounds like a myth (sarcasm btw, I get that normal realms had it bad the other way round but it shouldnā€™t be designed in a way that either side have it like that).

+100 :100:

Yes, because you act like I am trying to prove something. The whole reason i posted this, is because forum community likes to point out the bad things and complain, however, when they get what they like they never open a topic to say some positive stuff about it.

I donā€™t think itā€™s a positive that we still have the 20% buff instead of it being equal. I donā€™t think the Alliance getting the quest to kill horde for gear is a good thing. The only reason that isnā€™t having a zone disrupting effect is because they dropped the ilvl of the reward.

But if you see it as positive then good for you.

I was sarcastic, due to people not bringing it up. Anyway, as i said the bonus will eventually get balanced and hopefully then, neither the alliance or horde players will complain.

So you are admitting to trolling?

Ha!

As of writing this reply, I can testify to the significant decrease of Alliance players with WM on. Spent roughly 20min camping a Champions of Azeroth WQ without being able to even approach the area because it was swarming with Horde. And 0 Alliance players besides me (alive ones, at least).

Last week was very enjoyable for me personally, going into Warmode and having Alliance players by my side. Sadly, good things last only so long. I think, right now, with the decrease in WM benefit for the Alliance, even fewer players will turn it on. Iā€™ve yet to encounter a single Alliance raid group since the decrease. Maybe Iā€™m just playing on a dead server/realm. I donā€™t know.

One thingā€™s for certain - the Horde dominance in World PvP is back and, at this point, I find it less and less worth turning WM on. Thinking of permanently opting out world pvp simply because I donā€™t like getting killed by 20 players constantly without having any way of fighting back.

As Iā€™ve posted on other threads. Try an RP realm as an Alliance and youā€™ll have a completely different experience. The realm itself will seem dead but the attacks on Horde flightpoints and base are pretty much endless with hardly anyone around to fight back.

No offense, you gotta do what you gotta do to get some nice loot right? But this sums up everything that is wrong with the incentive.

It ainā€™t about WPVP, itā€™s about free loot.

And Ion said some stuff about wanting Horde not into WPVP to not turn it on just for 10% bonus

Yes, and PVP rewards should not be in a PVE system.

And PvP should be allowed vendors like PvE

I agree with that. Double-so, since I just found out (yes, I am a noob PvP player) that once you reach the weekly Conquest requirement and get that item, you canā€™t keep filling the bar, as it asks you to come back next week.

I know Iā€™m just now discovering hot water, but this is pure stupidity at itā€™s finest - instead of giving players the opportunity to farm conquest (as a PvP currency), they limit you NOT ONLY to what type of item you get per week, but also HOW MUCH conquest you can earn. I mean, what if I want to buy a PvP item for my prot warrior? (jk, all the items are pretty much the same for all specs nowadays)

Iā€™m sorry, but what the ā€œfā€ ??
