You have an unopened item in your collection

Just bought SL, and although I claimed both the mount and the pet, I keep getting this on every alt I log on. Is there any way to stop this?

Some old Mayan legends claim that sacrificing your first-born to the void lords while dancing under the full moon wrapped in bacon will open a portal allowing you to warn your past self to not buy the expansion and thus prevent the issue altogether.

Beside that I’m afraid you’re doomed to see this notification on all alts.

That sounds very annoying. I only got it on my main :frowning:

I found a post about this issue on the US forums, I figured you could try some of the solutions:-

Have you tried re-caging your pet (if it is possible) and re-opening it? I am not sure if you can do this to an expansion pet.

Worst part of it is, if you don’t go trough all your alts and open the package you start to get talking heads pop ups yelling at you “Check your dang collection!” every few minutes on your main. If you still choose to ignore it, server wide message starts to play: “Something has spooked one of de brutosaurs, sending it into a panic. Dis chaos is de last thing de city needs. Help de merchants by rescuing de cargo before you get stomped on.” and continues untill you open your gift, you ungratefull you!

It’s the same protocol than when you haven’t put on pvp talents and game keeps nagging you about it.
