I tried scan and repair, but no effect.

  • Poland
  • UPC provider
  • I have problem in login window, so realms propably dont matter
  • Retail
  • All morning after todays maintenace
  • Just cant log in game. Error: WOW51900328

Have had these problems all morning, since 7:30. Tried everything at this point.

  • Sweden
  • Halebop (also tried mobile hotstpot same problems)
  • Anniversary and MoP
  • Loggin in to game server followed by You have been disconnected. (WOW51900328)

Saying the problem is local is kinda wild

Game is not starting (macOS) - hangs,

this morning (8am CET) and continues

When i start game it hangs and not opening at all.


tried on mobile and it works! Orange provider.

Blizzard doesnt like the Baltic countries :smiley:

Definitely a fair question, but “around the world” can be hard to determine, which is why we ask for location specifics.

We can also see how many people are playing at any given time and compare that to how many people are normally playing around that time and see if there is a big difference to get an idea of the impact – in this case player numbers are in the usual range and so whatever the problem is there is only a (again relatively) small number of players impacted.

From the more recent replies we can already see that there is a concentration of reports from Sweden and Norway, with some in Poland and this is likely to be a problem with a carrier operating in those areas.

As for a fix they are almost certainly already aware from their own monitoring, but if there is anything proactive you want to do, the best option would be to contact your own ISP and provide them the details and they’ll be able to pass it on to the relevant parties and may be able to give some updates.

Another option, though not something we can offer direct support for, would be to use a VPN. Feel free to share info amongst yourselves, or you should be able to find what you need with some searching.

We’ll of course keep an eye on things from our side as well and take action where needed, but there isn’t too much we can do directly. Hopefully the issue can be addressed quickly anyway!

Hang in there, Sweden and Norway

Changed my location to Germany via VPN. Now its working.

  • Trying to log on, getting disconnected at “Logging in to game server”, returns with an error “You have been disconnected. (WOW51900328)”. Same as the thread author

Same problem for me and some other Swedish guildies.
Country: Sweden
ISP: Telia and Halebop (the latter for mobile hotspot, but that’s a Telia brand so on their infrastructure)
Affected: Retail (EU)
Not affected: Midnight Beta servers (I guess since they’re US servers)
When: This morning and ongoing.

Since Telia is the biggest ISP in Sweden and owns a lot of infrastructure the problems Norwegians are having (and possibly also Poles) might be stemming from the same issue. Some misconfiguration or whatever.

Edit: Tracing some publicly known IPs it seems to be a peering/routing issue. On a couple of IPs I get stuck on Arelion’s (AS1299 / twelwe99) network, while on a couple others I at least get to Blizzard (AS57976) before it dies. It’s of course impossible for us as outsiders to know if the IPs still are valid for testing, or if pings are intentionally black-holed.

Edit2: aaand it’s working again.

I have the same problem. Tried everything. With so many having this, it must be a server issue.
