You have reached the in game cap of unique mail recipients?

what? what is this? and when will it reset? WILL it reset? i’ve sent 19 mails today.

Apparently when you sent a lot of mails in a short time you’ll get this (maybe as a safety spam/gold seller precaution thing).

It’s a time based thing, I have heard that an hour may clear it, but I don’t know for sure, since I haven’t experinced it myself

probably it. would be nice if they told me how long i have to wait in the warning or something. never experienced that in over 12 years of playing xD ah well, will try again tomorrow. ty

note, i cant even send something to my alt now xD

Nope, it’s an account bound lockdown - when you are naughty you get to sit in the corner :yum:

Ooh not seen that one before :open_mouth:

19 mails/day and you wanna send more? Out o f curiosity can i ask what they were about? :joy: or just sending stuff to al?

Back in WotLK, I sent food from the guildbank to everyone in the guild. Could be plenty of other reasons too I guess.

Never seen what OP got though.

In the distant past you’d get mails from gold sellers.

I got boost selling mail the other week. Was not impressed.

Really!? Wow

I got one too, on a level 24.

Was it a bad deal?
10 years ago it was worth buying gold, but I wonder how the market is now

Put the red dress on! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I was in doubt about what dress you wanted me to wear, so many with redish colour in it, but I think you’ll be pleased when you see that the rose-ish coloured dress fits well with the head gear :smirk:

((and when the armory updates my taureness))

Stop sending love letter to everyone :flushed:

i am attempting a project. so i may well ask other “obvious” questions in forums in the future. i am trying to get a hard data grasp of the state of my server, (which i’ve sorta done by this point) and then try to get all the remaining guilds communicating to see if we cant help each other. with only 9 guilds raiding this tier, there may be other players who are capable of normal mode or higher, but their guild just aint doing it.

so i was mailing all gms in guilds with over 100 toons, which i’ve now completed. next task will be mailing all gm’s with over 30 toons.

as a side note, does anyone know if its possible to see how long ago a player last played? ball park would be ok, dont have to be exact, cause i noticed in the guilds with more than 100 toons (50 guilds) about half had a gm which was 110 or lower. a very worrying statistic. i am curious which guilds/gms i am totally wasting my time with cause, even though they may have a lot of toons, none would have logged in in months, or even years? to a degree, armory will tell me if there has been any activity in the last week, but that is only a week to be fair.

This is news to me. I wasn’t aware such a restriction existed. :woman_shrugging:

Maybe these GMs could be the ones that you could reach out to… 2 nights ago one of my lower alts joined an old guild that’s been inactive for some time, and the GM was trying to waking it up, from his lvl 100 toon.

Recently I have also stepped across a lot of really new guilds, where the gm made it from a new alt in order to create the roster from scratch.

I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for response from any gm you sent a mail to, to get a real view on the situation regarding low lvl GMs

well, i’ve found 965 guilds on my server, with 27300 toons so far. now, about 25% of them are only 1 toon guilds, and about 40% are less than 10. so thats already 65% of guilds, and 2000 toons im not going to even consider. im going to put the barrier at 30 toons, but thats still about 140 guilds i’ll need to mail, of which im about a 1/3 of the way through.

it should be as close to an accurate snapshot of my server as is possible if blizz wont release numbers, and its showing many issues already. eg, some of these guilds may be categorically dead. they have 1 player, and the in the guild finder has a note like many new start ups saying “new guild looking to raid and clear tier X”. so they weren’t a bank guild. they were a guild made to BE a guild, which then died, and most likely the creator, the sole toon left, doesn’t log on that toon anymore. of course, its brought up many issues which i will present when i finally finish my research. though, i know this will be totally ignored by blizz when i do present it :\
