Hi, I recently tried to level my alt mage (i accepted the gear bag thing thats just been added) After going to chromie and picking TBC/WOTLK i cant queue for ANY dungeon or do random due to not meeting the requirements? I can on other characters of mine that have not accepted the “gear update” so does it have something to do with that? The only dungeons i can do are BFA and they’re scaled terribly so I’d rather not.
Any help would be appreciated

Seems like you get the same restrictions placed on that char as if you had boosted it. Should be gone after a day max. I dont know why they would do this. Seems highly random. Not like i could use this to bot or spamm dungeons faster.
Blizzard have confirmed that the same restrictions get put on your account if you accept the “gear upgrade”

The only thing the upgrade doesn’t do is increase your levels. Everything else a bought boost does this thing does.
Ah yes the main part of buying a boost is for the green gear.
All Blizzard did is use the boost code and removed the level and the gold part, they seemed to forget to remove the lockout part.
