You vs. the cash shop item she tells you not to worry about

ooooh, so pretty!

(still holding out hope that stuff like this will be rotated into the Trading Post though).

the legion set is still the best hunter armor

I am tempted ngl…

Legion PvP huntar sets are beautiful. And they are actually huntar set. When I see them on a char, I immediately recognize a huntar armor, so they ‘huntar’ sets. For example Vindictive Gladiator set, typical huntar armor.

With a quick search, just found 3 beautiful %100 huntar armor

Those huntars. They have double damage, they are faster than a ground mount, they have vanish, they even have stealth, they have most beautiful sets and yet they are most complainant class…

It’s all subjective. Yes, that vindictive gladiator set is pretty much what a ‘ranger’ set could look like; which is a type of hunter.
But it’s not the type of hunter I’m interested in or like. Overal ‘leather armor’ offers me many choices that fit MY fantasy of a hunter a lot better.

I have not liked a single hunter set - as a complete set. Not one.
Sure there’s individual pieces with which you can create things. But I’m talking about complete sets in this case. But like I said: It’s all subjective.

There is no way. Hunter mail looks terrible, no matter how it is put together!

I provided evidence for my statement.

Historically hunters are leather weavers. For some reason, they are represented as chain, mail wearing ranged soldiers in WoW. This is why they look strange.

Personal opinion. I think hunter mail has been voted to the bottom multiple times by the community. If you like it, that’s great.

True.

I agree.
The colors fit really well with a Nightborne hunter too, I’m considering getting one.

the mog is beautiful. but i wont buy it. a pity.

So I bought it…
it actually cost me £6.45 because funnily enough if you already own everything in the heart warming pack you get a considerable discount on the one thing you haven’t got…
sweeeeeet!!!

So first of all it’s gorgeous, and you get a lot more bang for your buck in this as there is three options for girls for tops, two showing tasteful decolletage, one head options, one belt, one boots, one shoulders
Two glove options, and a whopping four pants options…one showing considerable leg, one showing considerable leg with trench coat attached…

It seems they have learned that those of us who see mogs as a large part of or character creation and game need ADAPTABLE seperates.

Also it was a steal £6.45…I have spent more than that on a breakfast butty and coffee at work…

I was going to go right back and gift my hubby, but it is a bit flashy…
mogs as already discussed here are subjective things, Tah the explorer, leather britches Hunter probably won’t wish to look like blinged up Christmas tree.

My hubby may not like the style so later when he’s done with Jack I’ll check…THEN buy him it…(evil grin)

However I agree legion sets were lovely, and very military which for someone looking at RPing very soon lends some credence to her back story, but sometimes we got to party?? right!!!

Thanks Blizz, lots more of this, in the game and in limited amounts in the shop. As a frequent purchaser of your shop please don’t over use it. Get as many of these shapes, these styles, these cosmetic gear options out in the game. To all areas. Please!!

Remember you have a diverse player base, with distinct diverse goals and way to enjoy the game. For something as fundamental for RP as your appearance, lets not limit people if we can help it eh!!!

Aye.
I like several ‘hunter archtypes’:

  • The more feral hunter (a ‘true’ beastmaster). Clad in furs and trophies or alternatively more fauna-based as a form of camouflage.
  • The explorer/adventurer type. Basically a mix of figures like ‘Steve Irwin’ and the explorers of yesteryear.
  • The treasure hunter. Based on characters such as ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘Lara Croft’ (I would LOVE it if hunters were given dual pistols in WoW). A bit rugged and such.
  • The scientist/scholar type adventurer. More academic based and a bit more ‘upscale’ than the treasure hunter or explorer/adventurer. Sort of a noble who goes on adventures.

Those are ‘fantasies’ I enjoy for my hunter. And I often change transmog and race too (I might have race changed tonight  Will probably show up on the forums in a little while).

But yeah, unfortunately there are not any hunter sets that support any of those fantasies. There’s thankfully other options nowadays. It’s one of the reasons why I’m so hyped for the Trading Post feature that’s coming to the game soon!

It is not beautiful but I will buy it. Blizzard art team often uses same color palettes on very different transmogs from very different sources from very different times. And that’s give wonderful opportunities to combine them.

How nice of them to make it an **** to preview individual pieces.

Aha, so just because it has smaller/bigger feathers pointing the same way it makes it “the same” while ignoring the 70% of other things that make the sets distinctively different from each other.

That’s the same price Destiny 2 charges for a full ornament transmog you can even color to your likings.

That being said, as long as we don’t get a proper coloring system for our own gear and armor, it will never be the same equal level of “money = service quality”.

The people with real money will always win, even at fashion.

Ok, the fact that you can’t check out the individual pieces is making me mad…
