I’m already burnt out after hitting 10/10 HC CN, and mythic+ is just straight up garbage for warlocks, I don’t even want to log in anymore and play my class.
I only do pvp, even when I lvled the warlock. It is ok with my gear. My Partner is ele sham for 2vs, he is ilvl 175 and we Managed to reach a rating of 900. We are always outgeared.

I simply stated logs prove aff is doing well in a pve enviroment.
I have a 7 60s and warlock being one of them. I didn’t find it any harder to play in a pve enviroment.
The Game used to be fun man, the speccs had their own identity The Warlock speccs were so diverse man that they feeled like different classes but still had their core. Maybe the Game evolved and the people that cant compete anymore (me includet) have to accept that we dont fit into it anymore. Arena used to be Tactial CD trade and setups that leadet to the kill, Now its a Oneshot meta that dont give you the time to React.
And that’s enough for a class? So because Affliction of good in raids all warlocks are fine?
That is not enough, I don’t want to play Affliction in any content. My spec since no was demo and will always be demo. Even if I think this abomination is really bad in its design. I just love my Wrathguard.

Can i go play assassination rogue Competitively? this isnt a Warlock only issue which was the inital thing i was replying to, The game has been for a long time pretty much 1 Specc per class at a time.
I as a Person tend to be fine with it, i only play classes i’d play all 3 speccs of to cover this problem and the games about 300x More meta then it was back in MoP.

In a game which a 1% DPS Loss makes a Specc unviable in the sights of the Influencers and Bias Logs which stack data To look wider then it really is… you’ll never have that.
my inital post was stating against a “Direct hatred towards Warlocks”. that there are classes which ahve remained even worse… without a single viable DPS Specc for the majority of the last 3 expansions.
If the game was perfectly balanced, i’d get bored… and thats just factual i Lean on the constant fluxation of BiS Specc to keep me swapping my class up throughout a Expansion. without it present… i’d prolly become complacient and more likely to leave the game.
we play the game differently… and require different things, so yes something outrageous in one set of eyes could be fine in another.

Same boat with other classes where your talents and conduits are designed in such way, that they can’t work with each other, like Pleasure trough pain talent is not compatible with demonic strenght, soul strike talents and not compatible with Fel commando conduit.
Does any other class in game has same issues? No, they doesn’t have same level of issues.
No other class in game has burst that is not controlable like demo has with tyrant.
No other class in game has resource generation mechanic that is based on random procs - hello affli.
No other class in game has last tier talent that makes your DPS overall worse - hello nether portal.
Affli is good in raids, ok. Does numbers of damage represent the overall quality of the spec? No.
Regardless of why the speccs Dead it doesnt change the fact the speccs been Dead in the waters for multiple Expansions.
For example, Stripping a class of almost all its mobility and Wondering why it doesnt function outside of the 2 whole times we saw their Damage so stupidly Overpowered to make up for it to be dead in the water again the next major patch.
tbh… every specc built on pet AI is pure Aids and unrecommendable to anyone regardless of its strength… their a pain in the butt and blizzards never gotten it right… Demo is a Prime Example of that ofcourse.

There are plenty of classes entirely built on RNG which is uncontrollable.

DK’s (necrotic plague) and warriors (slam) have talents that when taken result in a lower damage output than taking no talent at all. Curious if any other classes/specs have similarly poor talents. I don’t mean mechanically useless or impractical, but straight up DPS losses to take.
this was a 2010 Problem… a problem during the time of the “better team” actively working o nthe game.

mop: 8.2days (tot & soo 14 days)

no. theres several factors included in this realistically. as in old times there were NO TIME GATING, which means Worlds first race started the SAME DAY AS THE GAMES LAUNCH
ofcourse the spans LARGER when its on that scale, Nowadays u get what? 3 weeks onwards to pre gear for raids?.. back then it was Immediate, time gating will 100% make worlds first races Faster… because the contents not being dropped til after gearing.
If u look into the ACTUAL TIME for these bosses to drop. LK dropped in 68 hours after they began Raiding it for example… its Super quick to actually find out how long the raid itself took the clear.

Exactly. This is not for arguing, its just my opinion. Opinion that I am posting to reach the public, in order to (if the public agrees), show the developers of the game what we consider good. Ofc public can like new stuff (balance, classes, etc…) better, and in that case it will stay as it is.
As i understand there were lfr, flex, normal, heroic and now there are lfr, normal, heroic, mythic. 4 different difficulties. Highest of them was called heroic, now its renamed to mythic. It might have become harder, but so did the players become better. Remember that many players called vanilla raids the hardest.
As I understand from your posts, You seem to be happy with how the game has developed. I do enjoy SL very much, but for me, ever since MoP, classes that I play seem to have gotten worse.
