Your character is in a FIGHTING GAME!

Why hello there, good peoples of Azeroth. I have retreated within my wizardly study to try to get better at Happy Chaos in the ancient practice of Guilty Gear STRIVE.

But, as I play, I have thought of something that could be fun!

If your character was in a fighting game, what would their moveset be? What would their win/lose quotes be like? What sort of game would they be in?

Ahem.

MEURSAULT, the Wizard!
An unlockable DLC character to play as the final boss of the earlier installment. Banned from most competitive play.
A zoner-type character that spams the stage with hazards and hard-to-react combos.
Upon building enough charge, he has a special attack! An unblockable beam that takes most off the enemy’s health bar.

WIN QUOTE: “You’re a hundred years too early to challenge me, ruffian!”
LOSE QUOTE: “Very well, you win. I am at thine mercy.”

The funny thing is, part of Bodormi’s in-character inspiration was built off of a Fighting Game, specifically Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Ridley, so if she were in that, she’d probably be a Ridley Echo Fighter;

BODORMI soars in!

Neutral B - Shattering Star/Disintegrate: Tap B to fire a Shattering Star, dealing 4%. Hold to charge up a Disintegrate, with the size of the beam increasing the more charged it is.

Side B - Dracthyr Rush: Functionally identical to Ridley’s Space Pirate Rush, a Command Grab that drags the target across the ground. It ends when Bodormi either reaches a ledge or wall, or if she jumps to cancel it, each throwing the target.

Down B - Impale: Functions exactly like Ridley’s Skewer. No change in damage or mechanics.

Up B - Hover: This move borrows more from ROB’s Up B, where Bodormi begins to fly upwards for a limited time, before falling in a “helpless state”. The more drastic of the changes, though not one that hasn’t happened before (Chrom being a Roy Echo Fighter, though getting Ike’s Up B)

Taunts:
Up Taunt: Bodormi flaps a quick loop-de-loop, before uttering a ROAR!
Side Taunt: Bodormi utters a low growl, as her tail lashes behind her (bonus, does slight damage to targets behind her)
Down Taunt: Bodormi’s tail slams the ground, before she chuckles menacingly…!

Yes, I’ve overthought this a LOT.

Your threads rock, Etranger. This is another great one.

Darbakh is Metal Mario from Super smash Bros. Just a gatekeeper before the final boss who marches at you.

Either that, or E. Honda. Still another guy who tries to just march you down.
