Your characters' favorite town/City?

Hello there everyone! Fellow good gamers of Argent Dawn!
I hope you are all doing well, enjoying the game, and faring well in Life!

Today, i am going to ask you about…:
Your characters’ favorite city or town?

Which probably will be the place of their birth, or whey they lived for some time!

It doesn’t have to necessarily be the main Capital cities, you know, but for example:

Your night elf liking Starfall village in Winterpring.
Your orc liking Garadar.
Your human liking Hearthglen.
Your draenei liking Telmor.
Your dwarf liking Kirthaven.
Your troll loving and missing Stranglethorn.
Your thalassian elf loving Fairbreeze village.
Your Tauren loving camp Taurajo. (!!!)
Your Pandaren Wandering isle.
Your AU orc loving Gromashar.
Your Lightforged liking Mac’aree.
Your undead loving Ambermill…
.
.
.
And so on! There can be much experience and story about it! Can be based on a travel the Character had, for example, your Pandaren liking Suramar!

Hope you’d enjoy reading this topic!

Alryette likes Thunder Bluff, despite hating heights.

It’s simple, like Orgrimmar, but without the dryness that cracks open her scars.

Cro’s favourite town is Tarren Mill, not that she (or i for that matter) are sure that it’s still there.

She’s also pretty fond of Tranquillien.

Vax doesn’t actually have one. She just likes Icecrown.

Thunder Totem. He was born and grew up there. There’s no better place for him on this or any other world.

Flavor town, obviously.

David likes superior Lakeshire, because he is from there.
Other than that Binan Village, or Sri-La Village comes a close second.

My character liked Darnassus the most, but since that’s no longer a thing, second best for her is Ironforge. If we’re talking about big cities.

In regards of towns - Feathermoon Stronghold has provided her with lively chatter and training, which is why I believe Alyndaria favors it.

Laurenn’s favourite city is simply Silvermoon. It reminds her of the childhood days, is a place she aspires to come back to one day (even if it’s not possible). The fact that her memories of Silvermoon are all idealised and she remembers no wrong with the place also contributes to the choice.

Areo disdains most urban centres; as far as he’s concerned, they shouldn’t exist, and all who walk Azeroth should do so harmoniously with the world around them. Night Elf and Tauren settlements get a pass because the two races are very minded to uphold the balance.

He’s quite fond of the drinks they sell in Lorlathil, though.

While Narmë absolutly loves Silvermoon, where she grew up, and most of Quel’thalas, her absolute favorite place in the world is not in thr elven kingdom. It’s a spot in the Jade Forest, not far from the Arboretum, at the feet of a tree, two steps from a small river.
In general, she also have complicated feelings toward Northrend (so many horrors, but a few important memories), and seasides/harbors in general.

Watrus holds a lot of fondness for Silvermoon. One of the first places she explored when she started out on her own journeys. She suffered some heartbreak there (stupid girl), so hasn’t actually been back in near a decade, but if pushed to it she would definitely say she still loves the city.

Otherwise, she loves having reasons to go back to Thunder Bluff. Surrounded by those gorgeous views, quiet, relaxing.
And also high up enough that jumping off it with the goblin glider is always fun!

Anything coastal is also always a win.

Sainur enjoyed Boralus so much he was forcefully removed from a tavern at some point.

So probably that.

Lei’s favorite city was and will always be, Zin’Azshari. Despite 10,000 years of being separated from it, she still remembers the city for what it once was, before Xavius’ rise to the Queen’s ear.

Stormwind is mankind’s last, true bastion. The hope of a waning species in the face of unrelenting assault by otherworldly invaders and strange rivals. It must be protected.

Dalaran would be an alternative if they weren’t so passionately ignorant and likely to sod off at the first sign of trouble. Realistically, it might still come to that because the Horde has given up every pretense of restraint and the jewel of the Eastern kingdoms will likely be choked in blight shortly.

Stormwind. So many takeaways.

Halfhill. Rustic but… unarguably pandaren (pandarian?). Farming, fishing, and food. Uncomplicated. A nice place to retire to.

Also there are occasional entertaining incidents in the local inn which are worth overhearing

Raes takes a lot of pride from the resilience of Gnomeregan and Ironforge during the Second War. Her Bronzebeard “cousins” live in Ironforge, too. She might think they’re dumb, oafish, loud, blunt, whatever; but she’ll defend them to the death - including against other Alliance races.

Stormwind, she doesn’t mind either. For Raes, Gnomes, Dwarves and Humans are the real OG Alliance. Everybody else is on probation. Stormwind’s also pretty metropolitan and decidedly more open-air than the cities she’s used to, so that’s a bonus.
