I’ve never seen such a fabulous undead horse.

Epoch is the prettiest pony.

Maimfang, a great wolf of Nagrand.

There’s actually quite a bit of story to how the orc and the wolf met and occasionally clashed over a few years - until eventually Vakosh chose to claim it for a mount. In true Warsong fashion, it inevitably involved him wrestling the wolf and charging up a mountain to either break its will or die trying.

I’d honestly sooner spill the actual tale through RP, but that’s the summarized version of events.

Noah, my loyal steed.

The Dawncastles are known for their love of horses, Mauro´s sister has a stables in Elwynn he regularly visits to help out and see his nephew and niece again. Noah was one horse his sister picked out for him when he returned from Northrend during the time of the Third Legion invasion. They have been loyal companions ever since, with Noah helping Mauro to carry his medical equipment around.

I remember the last thread!

This is just going to be hunter edition because I really like my hunters having mounts that double up as hunter pets.

Well, Croecell has a Frostwyrm called Midnia that was gifted to her by the Ebon Blade for helping storm Icecrown Citadel. Just like how you get it in game. She and that creature have been through a lot together. She also has a wolfhawk called Veldt.

Hibani has two mounts and they both double up as hunting companions. She has a red raptor called Rakfa who was a gift to Hibani when she was young, Rakfa sees herself as a pack alpha with the “pack” being all of Hibani’s other beasts. Rakfa is loyal to Hibani and will die defending her if she must.

Hibani’s other mount is a bat called Saleek, he’s pretty chill.

Hibani hopes to be able to tame one of the skyscreamers on the isle of giants one of these days.

Erybdis has a mana saber called Paleshade, she also doubles up as a hunter pet. She has had her for centuries, still not as long as she’s had that turtle though.

Brynhyde, my wildhammer dwarf has a gryphon called Corbae that she has raised from an egg. He is loyal and protective of Brun.

Yvayne has a dragonhawk called Alice, she is named after a friend Yvayne had when she was apart of the Argent Dawn. She lost this friend and after she left the Argent Dawn/Crusade (back in Cataclysm), she adopted a dragonhawk hatchling and raised it into the mount it is today.

Belok rides Claw (creatively named because he has claws), a black dire wolf that he took off the hands of the apothecary Sckrink when it was but a pup! Obviously, it couldn’t stay in the care of a wretched undead.

Morgkha rides Karanash, an elderly wolf, given to her after she recovered from the Red Pox. The disease hit her hard, leaving her scrawny and frail, unable to get around much without the aid of a stick. Karanash was given to her as a means of getting around, as not many in Garadar saw much point in giving her a young, agile wolf.

Most of my characters have an IC mount, some with extensive story, some not

My goblin fire mage jokingly claims he has a core hound called Fiffy

Thuzar my warlock rides around on demons he managed to enslave, all of them having names ofc.

ofc the best of them all is “Lady”
my dwarf rogue rides a tallstrider she calls “Lady” they met in Darkshore when her and her guild had needed mounts to cover more distance.
now my dwarf does not speak a lick of elvish and so she thought she asked for a saber cat but instead they came out with a purple Tallstrider.
to prideful to correct the mistake she mounted the bird.
as is to be expected her guild mates teased her about it all the way, this alongside with a lack of animal handling meant her and Lady had a very rocky start to their relationship.
However after a while and an incident in which the Tallstrider ran circles around a pack of hungry raptors, outclassing the other mounts by miles in doing so, Lady did not only earn the respect of my dwarf but the guild members as well.
And they been partners ever since.

His feet.

Back when he was born, he received them as part of his creation-ritual (birth), and they were grown from his very essence. Sporting a reasonable amount of toes, these feet have carried him for most of his life, and have grown to become a faithful companion to his adventures, in good or bad.

Not much for making conversation, it is still clear that his feet support his daily actions, by merit of carrying him where he intends to go. He doesn’t know how this works exactly, whether the feet are reading his mind or something more nefarious, but it works in his favour, so he has long since stopped questioning it.

Little does he know… His feet are actually servants of Nz’o-… I’m kidding. They’re just feet.

Hyena, cause rams are overrated and hyenas are cute.

Sainur still calls it a ram though. Or a foxdog. He can’t really make up his mind.

A temperamental blonde coloured mustang named Miles. Jasper broke him in when he was a wild horse so he spared time rather than gold on the beast and chose him for his strength and speed.

He then named him such because the steed would literally carry him for miles.

A shadow enhanced Dreadsteed. There is no love lost between it and Vervaina though, it really is just a conveniently equine-shaped demon enslaved to the will of its rider. And gratifyingly intimidating to look at.

As a bit of trivia, Vervaina did not go through the great efforts of summoning the steed in the first place. She killed a sin’dorei warlock and enslaved his mount before it had a chance to escape to Xoroth.

For Kilgun it’s his bike, which he bought from Gearfist IBS a few years back. It don’t mean much for him as it constantly gets stolen, so he end up buying a new one once he got the money and just “pretend” it never did get stolen. He is currently driving “Trike-In-A-Box, 3.”

Mjolvir, my bard, walks. His mount is his own positivity and excitement to see people that “drives” him out of bed.

Obviously Sabina doesn’t have one.

Her Father on the other hand who isn’t a Worgen prefers to ride around on a black Horse.

She has a Raptor called Raptor and a Wolf called Wolf.

She also lacks any real imagination. Spades a spade.

Bearan is too heavy for the average Grunt wolf, so he rides a Horde Battleboar instead. Bulky, slow, and just as poor tempered as its rider.

Bearan hasn’t named the beast, and sees no need to. He has little emotional connection to it, seeing it as nothing more than another tool to use in his conquest against the Horde’s enemies.

I rely on my own wings. I choose to follow the teachings of Aviana, and my stormcrow form is the sole shape I’ve come to master. It’s a large dark gray stormcrow simillar to that of the species I bonded with during my training. It is a part of who I am.

Befor I became a druid I sometimes rode with my aunt’s saber cat Ma’shar whenever he allowed me to. But since she didnt survive the frontline when the horde came for Darnassus, I suspect that neither did Ma’shar.
