Atahalni Rides a Grim Crocodile, official mount of the Grim Gang
I have my trustworthy companion who takes me anywhere. Specially his goaty is so adorable. ( Brown Riding Goat)
Oh Kump! Mount me! Let me be your true and loyal lightforged goat! * jumps up and down*
A lone male hyena he found in Vol’dun. He named him “Snakechewer” after he helped him kill a considerable amount of Sethrak
… Uh. UH.
Khalt rides a Predatory Bloodgazer from the Broken Isles. It serves as a fine substitute for his now retired orange raptor. He hasn’t picked a name for it, mostly because he is lazy.
Yargronn, my mag’har, rides a shadowmoon stalker named Ruinhowl. Originally belonging to his mate before she was converted to Lightbound, the black wolf is unusually quiet, only letting slip an ominous howl as an ill portent of things to come. It’s a bad sign when Ruinhowl makes a noise.
My Belf Warlock, Daroden, has a Swift Lovebird because Hawkstriders tend to attack him on sight and he’s just a bumbling moron who can’t handle such a big strong bird. It’s the only bird-like mount that doesn’t fly into a frothing rage around him, so he tries to ride it with… Some measure of regality.
My pandaren Shaman, Muzhao, rides a bad-tempered grey riding yak, rumoured to be from the same herd as the legendary Ruther. This thing lives to eat grass and gore the ever-loving crap out of whatever’s directly in front of its’ horns. It’s kind of awesome!
A decent undead dragon.
Took five necromancers and herself to the north to help her raise one.
Killed all five and used their left over power to raise it herself.
What a dik
W-what? No no, Thunderfang, my loyal Frostwolf suffice… Thank you…
The warlords deathwheel mount. Kerza’s ultimate combination of blackrock and goblin craft which she’s fondly nicknamed “Big Bruka” after an ogre she once knew.
Gotta love riding into battle spraying black fumes and flames everywhere. The enemy can’t tell if you’re about to explode if you allways look like you’re about to explode.
Coats face in chrome spray paint. "WAAAAAARGHHH!"
Akamito wanders the world on foot, as was tradition in his tribe.
Hoof, right?
Malach has a Charger who he found at the hands of his old master who succumbed to the lies of the Lich King and became a Second Generation Death Knight. Now it is reborn in the Light and serves his new master. Aptly named, Steadfast - a reminder that no matter how far you stray into the dark, should you have hope, there will always be a ray of Light waiting for you.
Almost always running wild, since all of my characters are Worgen (shut up i don’t have a problem >:[ )
I might expand out for my Mage. Give him a dank mekgineer’s chopper or a treadblade.
My RP char has a nice horsie (the pvp gold steed thingy). I forgot its name but it has carried him through life and death and it itself is still alive.
now for non hunter edition!
my night elf druid/rogue has an outland raven that she raised from an egg, she has had this bird since TBC. She is a druid of the talon herself and feels a deep connection to her companion.
Although capable of flight herself, she still uses the raven from time to time.
My DI shaman uses a fire elemental shaped either into a cat or a horse, the horse can fly.
My blood elf mage uses a sunreaver dragonhawk and a sunreaver hawkstrider, they were both given to her when she was apart of the organisation. She quit some point in Legion though, mainly because she doesn’t really want to jump back into bed with the Kirin Tor after the events in MoP.
A Seabraid Stallion named Baron that’s been with Regina since her Marine days. He’s an ornery and prideful horse, only accepting Regina and refusing to be ferried around by anyone else when she’s not around.
Regina’s also a trained gyrocopter/flying machine pilot and owns one (a modified version of the ones used on the Skyfire) but it hasn’t seen much use for a while.
I can’t allow any hyenas close to you.
Probably my Warriors Raptor, something he found as a Babe when he went on an Expidition with some Smugglers around Stranglethorn, he then took care of it and raised it himself.
When it finally grew old enough to actually ride around, he’d start to use it as more an oversized dog-pet. Feeding it and treating it like a dog with a bone, even amoungst the amount of times it’d bite him because he decided to hide the good meat in a bag somewhere.
It even got so far that when that warrior was homeless for a long while, the Raptor’s stomach would’ve been the pillow for him to sleep on, being around on a camp night. Character got married (To my IRL partner’s character) And he now feeds it in a nice calm stables. Quite honestly a ‘minor touch’ story for my character.
I’ve also been lampbasted because apparently… Someone having a living breathing Raptor as a mount you’ve had at birth is entirely impossible, even though proven tamable mounts and pets. But Hey, Pesky Fantasy stuff.
Naoru rides Gorl, a massive wolf - has to be to carry someone the size of him.
He came upon him during the Burning Legion’s invasion in the Barrens. Naoru needed a mount to get around fast in order to respond to the different attacks in the region, and an old orc in the Crossroads offered him to borrow Gorl. When Naoru returned however, the orc had perished in an attack and since then, Gorl has been Naoru’s companion.
Now they share an almost spiritual bond.
Zeep has his service wind rider called Kra’caka.
Worrig has a set of triplet wyverns named Tariga (f), Toragi (f) and Tarogu (m). Even though they are not really triplets because they are born from eggs…
Oh and a wolf named Destructorer. This is also why you don’t let children name pets.
A poorly maintained Green Mechanostrider that’s perpetually on the edge of being unusable.
