Warhorse. Since I use one of the Highlord’s Charger mounts (because it looks better than the Thalassian Chargers and I do not have the patience for Goldenmane), his horseshoes are enchanted to glow for no other reason than Aesthetics.
Goldenfeather, extremely arrogant and snobish razorbeak gryphon of the Aerie Peak that has a competition of some sort with my character. Thyron wouldn’t be a Glorious Cavalier of the Estemeed Order of the Peak and the Gryphon if he hasn’t had one - And considering the fact that it is a DAMNED GRYPHON, we’ve spent roughly week and a half on obtaining them. Better than to have 'em pulled out of the thin air, right? Bird hates Blood Elves and naturally feeds on Dragonhawks.
He’s been a part of my character for a year I think. It’s not just a mount, it’s an important piece of the story.
Where’s the fun in powerplaying with a damned frost wyrm lol
Thoelin is a licenced Gyrocopter / Geosynchronous world spinner pilot. He recently won a Depleted kyparium rocket from a bet with a goblin tinkerer in Gadgetzan. He warned the goblin about the poor quality of smuggled Venture Co. chemical blasting caps before the poor fella blow himself into pieces…
BIKESABER
Hedris has a personalized Mechanohog, the front is shaped like a pouncing Nightsaber and the engine has been modified to run on ale. was crafted as a gift from a Dwarven Brewmaster friend who he battled beside during the war against the legion. its currently parked in the store house of his Alchemy shop in Boralus.
Uruk has two mounts:
-
Standard deathcharger for ground travel.
-
His frostwyrm Madrigos for air travel and combat.
Vortas’s mount? His feet. He likes to travel to places by foot.
Bess Crowrigg: Sea-Braid Stallion.
Part Horse, Part mobile camp with comfortable saddle, ropes, guns, saddlebags, lamp, and everything else a wandering mercenary would need.
Otenga.
The formerly packbeast grew favour when Jan’zi was given over to him as a favour during one of his latest pilgrimages to Nazmir. They travelled through Zuldazar together in order to reach the border, but when the time came for Jan’zi to release the packbeast back to the wild and to its master, the beast refused.
It stubbornly followed Jan’zi into the deadly swamp and has never left his side since.
Thyron Goldglance
My Death Knight has two mounts, actually.
The first one, is of course, Vengeance. Her Deathcharger. There is nothing much to say about it. Often used for mounted combat. Loyal. Undead steed. Had it like any of her fellow Death Knights. The name ‘Vengeance’ was given after she found her freedom at Light’s Hope. As in, this horse would carry her vengeance against the Lich King - and the Scourge, of course!
The second one, carries a certain importance of course. Its name is Zephyr. And surprisingly, it is an undead steed as well! Well. Not a steed exactly. It is of an undead hawkstrider. She also likes to call it the “Pale Presage”. (OOC side - a biblical reference to Death. On a Pale Horse, bla bla!) I made its own TRP with a few details. But I enjoy emoting it. It is quite the creature.
My character doesn’t actually have a mount anymore. She used to use this massive stallion that her boyfriend lent her, but since they broke up, she has to walk everywhere now.
Bahahahaha!
oh my.
in ten characters.
Buttercrumpet - Garerths masculine black horse, with a very not-masculine name.
I remember posting in a thread like this so sorry in advance if this is the same one!
Cathy has a mechanostrider called “Sergeant.” It stays in her shed these days. It’s a stripped-down mechanostrider that wasn’t very sturdy, but it could move around very quickly and was used for mounted marksmanship. It also comes with prerecorded patriotic phrases that blare out of a frontal speaker.
She doesn’t turn it on anymore because it’s too much of a hassle to figure out how to stop it from pecking/yelling at people that make sudden movements or say the word “Trogg.”
This is the best origin story ever for a new Trogg crusade.
Koshdrol doesn’t really have the kind of money or contacts to buy himself a horse or windrider and does not really feel right using the traditional riding wolves of his clan… (I mean killing people with fel magic for money is hardly the most honourable profession for the Warsong) …so he does not have a designated mount.
He also isn’t powerful enough to summon and bind a Xorothian steed, infernal or something flashy to ride around on.
Hoooowever in a pinch he has been known to jump onto the back of his Felhound and have that carry him to his destination instead. It complains about the weight, but it does as its told or else it gets sprayed with the bottle again.
Does a Kul’tiran second rate ship of the line bought (nicked) from a Goblin auction count or will a raggedy sack of stallion bones called a steed have to do?
Asking for a friend.
Cool threads Kump. Letherius has been Acharons steed since he was part of the Silver Hand, after he became a death knight he brought the steed to Acherus and converted him into a deathcharger. During the Cataclysm period Acharon raided a Scourge hideout, the cultists there wanted to create undead raiders that were unstoppable on horseback, equipping some skeletal horses with enchanted armor. Acharon killed the cultists and stopped the production, then fitted Letherius with the armor and rode off.
Tessalyn rides “Nibbles”, the incredibly over-taxed giant Rat.
She won him from a game of Hearthstone, back during the Third Invasion of the Burning Legion, and loves him a great deal more than she does most people. Tess gets a lot of looks of repulsion and disgust when she rides him, but is fiercely protective of her giant rat baby.
