So it looks like it’s either the end of WOW for me during shadowlands or at the end of shadowlands.
Ah well, can’t afford a new pc and I won’t be buying a new one just for wow. Had a good run though since 2008

If you list what your pc specs are maybe someone will be able to help you upgrade certain parts for really cheap? Even if it’s a small upgrade that will make it work?
I actually got the same message, but my guess is it’s caused by raytracing being added to the game.
My 10x series card doesn’t have it enabled and i assume it’s causing the message, since everything else is tagged as green and has high recommended.
DXR has nothing to do with it. This message is caused when they detect a driver update being available (which sometimes may bug out). Check for driver updates and if all is up to date just ignore it.
Also if you have a CPU with iGPU that system will also check for iGPU drivers even when not used to play the game.
Could be it, well, i’m not going to bother as long as game works as per usual.
Also got the message, updated GPU drivers and it was gone.
Eventually your old potato is going to die or be obsolete, consider upgrading.
Please, keep in mind that “your GPU driver out of date” and “your computer(system) is out of date” are different. Its probably about CPU and other things. Can blizzard clarify when its going to happen/is there any chance to launch the game when it happen?
Prepatch is working fine for me. I got plans, and today they were ruined.
Hi,
Yes, indeed as HackCraft mentioned the messaging is important, it is generally a good idea to make sure your video drivers are up-to-date, as more often than note, newer drivers will offer better support for newer or updated games.
If your system fall below the minimum requirement this would limit options, as while we try to maintain support for older hardware, there are technical limitations, especially if your running hardware that is considered End-of-Life and is no longer receiving official support from that hardware manufacture, via driver support.
You can find the system requirements for World of Warcraft here: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/256565
Im getting this message on a new(ish) computer with all the drivers updated playing burning crusade?
Er, you do realise that the post you necro’d is over a year old, right?
Its better to start your own thread than to necro such an old one.
Please do not necro old posts.
