Your favorite Human Kingdom?

My favourite being Stromgarde due to the vast historical significance it has to humanity. Being the cradle of human civilisation (to my knowledge) rising to become a great empire and slowly declining into the husk it is today. From mighty empire to elite militaristic kingdom to ruin. Though it may be back on the rise again depending on where blizzard takes the Arathi warfront.

Stormwind :lion:

Despite you know, no one actually playing characters from Stormwind.

Stromwind. It IS one of the only two kingdoms left standing. And after a sacking, a rebuilding, gunpowder plots, botched assassinations, a Demon Invasion, multiple usurpation attempts and now total war its more that certainly earned its stripes.

Unlike Lordaeron, which seems to just breed humans that hate Stormwind with a passion from my IC experiences.

Stormwind and Stromgarde. I like the vanilla stuff. And I like their style more. I’m not into that whole boring and, to me, over hyped victorian english thing. It got boring way before Blizzard got to it.

I would have to say Gilneas. For a myriad of reasons, even my human chars are Gilnean by birth, the entire region is just wonderful. Or, well, was.

Lordaeron, I liked the whole Arthas story. It was tragic.

My actual human is from Stormwind though, she’s a guard turned soldier.

Evidently, my favorite kingdom is Kul Tiras due to my fascination with its long-standing nautical theme. I remember being introduced to the Kul Tirans back playing that WC3 Frozen Throne bonus campaign, "The Founding of Durotar where Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore was the antagonist.

Granted, there wasn’t much lore distinction shown in-game but I found that kingdom to be intriguing nonetheless.

Stromgarde and Lordaeron, for Strom because it’s the first human kingdom and for Lordaeron as I love the lore of WC2 and 3.

Also I roleplay a paladin from SOuthshore which technically belonged to Lordaeron iirc

Aesthetically, definitely Gilneas, with Kul Tiras a close second. Both of them have a very similar vibe in architecture. It isn’t because I’m a Brit and the accents there, because dearie dearie me, some of those accents are jarring… They just look…more to my mind like a human city/culture in that world would, it’s hard to put my finger on it.

I love that Gilneas’ story is essentially one of pride going before a fall, and that Genn lived long enough to see where his isolationist policies got him (Even though he was technically right, when he seceded from the Alliance). With Kul Tiras I do like the Nautical theme, but also some of the darker, paganistic elements explored in zones like Drustvar and the constant fear of Witches.

Its really close, But those are definitely my favourites.

Which is ironic really, as I have two Human characters, one, Ginette Nixon, was -born- in Gilneas, but her family moved when she was five, before the Wall went up, so she obviously predates the Worgen curse, so is standard human, counts herself as a Stormwind Lass, and the other, Jack Tallister, is Stormwind born and bred, born in the original Stormwind, then a refugee in Lordaeron, now resident in the rebuilt Stormwind.

It used to be Dalaran, until they turned their sorry behinds neutral…

So now its Stromgarde due to its Warriors mentality and I really like the Kingdom’s history! :stuck_out_tongue:

I despise your new look, Mordinubum

YOur look is just as worse, Moburon, what are you, a Human?

Thank you, Moburon! I’m still not sure wether I keep carrying on my old look, or rock this new look(with a different head item, tho!)

Also I appreciate the compliment, but I won’t let you off the hook on this;

Its Kaldorei, not Kal’dorei, we’re not one of those degenerated Elves who forgot how to properly spell their names!

What if it’s Kal’dorei in Thalassian?
