What is your favourite Hub or spot to RP in and why?

For me the town of Darkshire and the surrounding woods give me a sense of mysticism, always a wide pallet of travellers and quirky folk coming to-and-fro through the town.

I founded my first RP guild in the zone a few years back, patrolling the woods and roads as a militia, giving me my first real experience of RP and what it can offer, really transforming the game for me. Some of my best and funniest times in RP have been in Duskwood and Darkshire, so will always haves a special place in my heart and the numerous folk i’ve seen and talked to there.

Vol’dun:
I would like to RP there but Blizz won’t give me an excuse to RP there by releasing Vulpera. I just love deserts, man.

Before Theramore was destroyed, it was one of my favorite places to RP. We had some wild adventures in the swamps surrounding it and the threat of the horde was too real.

At the moment, my favorite place to RP is also Darkshire. There are various reasons why I like it. The atmosphere is very creepy. There is always the threat of necromancers, feral worgen and cultists in the forests surrounding the town of Darkshire. The community is also very interactive and dynamic. I like how the different guilds interact with each other. I know there is a lot of controversy around ‘what happened to Darkshire after legion’, but it is a good community.

There are some other places I would still love to RP. The broken isles are beautiful and have a lot of potential. Not to mention, it is very accessible once you have the Dalaran hearth stone. I would love to have a campaign against the remnants of the legion trying to rebuild it. (If that would even be a thing.)

New Dalaran is also another great place I would love to see more RP in. Too bad NOBODY RPs there. Not to my knowledge at least. Maybe a mage guild already has a whole community going on there and I dont know about it.

Feralas.

I just love the vibe of that place. It feels like a mystical forest with the Night Elven ruins, the Ogres and the Emerald Dream connections.

Camp Mojache would be great to role-play in again. It looks great with its many tents and huts, and guards walking about. Shame there’s still refugee NPCs here and there.

I would love to see more activity in Kalimdor as well. Soon my Night Elf would have less then zero reasons to keep hangin out in SW

Always Winterspring.

I love that it still has that same kind of mystical purple hue that the Elven woods have in Ashenvale and Teldrassil, but compeltely blanketed in snow. It was also the closest you could get to Mount Hyjal in the original game which made it quite an important spot.

It was also quite difficult to reach given you had to go through the hostile furbolg tunnels from Felwood/Moonglade to reach it. It made it feel exclusive in some way. It took me a long time to get to max level in Classic so it always felt like somewhere just out of my reach.

It was always the focal point for my RP if I could swing it with my Night Elf character, and I made Akamito’s tribe visitors of that land for the same reason.

Love it.

For me it will always be Booty Bay, cross faction rp has been fun for a while now and the folk there are mostly always nice.

Gilneas, Ashenvale, Dun Morogh and Eversong Forest. Those would be my current picks. Though really depending I do find new favorite RP zones.

Grizzly Hills - it’s probably my favourite zone from Wrath and it still holds up pretty well. The fact that’s its littered with Worgen and Vykrul rather than scourge is nice. It always came across as independent of the whole conflict around it.

Well, it used to be Brill. But we’re talking about before-cataclysm Brill.

Hearthglen, Tyr’s Hand and Ashenvale.
First two due to Scourgey issues and Argent focus, the latter due to it being nice on the eyes.

Thunder Totem and Highmountain as a whole. Lots of awesome spots to relax and have events in.

The Jade Forest - Temple of the Jade Serpent. There isn’t a more visually appealing place in the entire game.

Feralas will always hold a strong appeal to me too. I remember regarding it as this far-flung place of mystery when I was first playing the game as a child. The ruins of an ancient, dying city was hella cool.

There are many for me.

Basically AU Draenor by whole especially Frostfire ridge, Nagrand and Shadowmoon valley. Shame they can’t be used as what they really are IC.

Else than those, i can mention Nagrand (Outland), Hyjal, Zuldazar, Stormheim, Stormsong, Arathi and most darkened lands like Plaguelands, Ghostlands, etc.

Although none of these are an RP hub. But among hubs, i like Feralas more.

Ashenvale, or any Elven forest-y land for that matter. I’unno, I like the serenity of it in a world being torn apart.

Gilneas purely because it’s victorian england with top hats and spots of tea and i absolutely live for that kind of :poop:

Suramar would be pretty dope to RP in if it didn’t have armies of NPC’s around every damn corner. It’s one of the very few ‘in tact’ cities that’s in the outside world.
