Back in Vanilla, I saw a Dwarf arguing with a NPC seller.
Think it was in Ironforge. It was hilarious

Ages ago in TBC on this very character i looted a chest while questing in the ghostlands and found a gold bar.
I thought i could smelt it for actual gold coins, little did i know that it was not possible.
Ended up selling it for a decent amount back in the day at the AH and helped me get those ice cold milk drinks that my pally’s non existing mana regeneration was really craving back then.
Simple things are the best.

Back in Legion i used to camp in thunder totem on my rogue and use distract on horde players so that they ran off and fell to their death.

I once ran a Court of Stars and one of the party members managed to get stuck on the fountain before the 2nd boss behind an invisible wall. I managed to rescue them with a 2 seater mount. The whole incident was pretty funny.

Once in Tiral of the Crusader, my raid group were on the boss that had a Horde or Alliance group we were meant to kill. I was late for the raid, so I got invited, and then summoned. When I was summoned I entered the raid and immediately ran towards what I thought was my friends! Dear friends I probably thought, and then realized I ran into the group of Horde enemies and pulled them all, resulting in a hilarious wipe.
I have to admit I still laugh about this. It was a testament to how horrible I am as a raider.

I used path of frost when you fall into the water as we were going for the no death heroic run and wiped my group, i was removed from the guild but laughed for a good week.

Great small pvp skirmishes with the boys with valuable resources on the line. Good times.

Oh yeah when I was exploring the monk class hall island I managed to die at the edge of the turtle from fall damage. When I released my ghost was sent to the barrens crossroads graveyard… and that toon was alliance.

Winning an AB match when I was little, and with a class I wasn’t even proficient at, I had the most killing blows.
Basically I was leading the charts as a pvp noob. 
If we are talking PvP, I played it a lot as Ret during SL prepatch. Basically the scaling was all messed up, so I was dealing retarded amounts of damage. Divine toll pre-nerf was OP as well, easiest marks of honor I ever got apart from Comp Stomp

Been gearing my new monk alt in EBGs and switched my keybinds around to accommodate anti-CC trink… resulting in me repeatedly Flying Serpent Kicking off the edge of ramparts, bridges and hills or into the middle of Horde and getting deleted. Stupid muscle memory!

took me 2 weeks to find out I could Cancel flying Serpent Kick mid flight, I fell of so many things that I’d actively aim it at walls if I wanted to get anywhere.

This made me laugh to myself as I have always had my interrupt on the same keybind for years, as you say muscle memory. I am playing TBC atm and only just levelling, no interrupt yet, but I constantly hit the key anyway!!!

I always bind my movement ability to one button, I played a warrior through most of BFA but decide I wanted to change to hunter mid raid…first thing i did was disengage off the platform on xanesh on pull thinking i would charge.

i wouldnt call the most funniest moment, but its still kinda funny.
during 8.3 invasion there is that weekly elite Vil’Raxx that resides under the vale.
when he dies a portal is opened to loremaster cho. someone told me to click it to summon boss. so i did and i teleported outside…
i came back, told another guy to click it to summon the boss by clicking the portal. /w him to pass it forward and i killed the boss and got out of there.
was hilarious (to me).
Did something similar on my monk, rolled off a platform during a raid in Antorus, my guildies were asking what happened, and I kept saying please don’t ask, no really don’t ask me to explain it!!! They laughed at me for quite a while
