So my most Recent fail, seems to always happen when I play Battleground Blitz.
I was fighting, I was capturing, and defending the point. I look up at the score. ‘Yeah! The Horde is in the lead! We’re almost there!’
Match ends.
‘…I lost!? But how!? We were win-… oh… I was on the Alliance Team.’
Guess I’ll take back all of my cheers of ‘Good work Team!’ LOL

Buying an entire stack of mats by accident when I just wanted 1… only cost me 2.2m gold.

Bought the wrong tier piece in classic cata

Switching to my ele to play some BGs. Losing any 1v1 to any class until I realise I forgot about and had nt configured most of my basic defensives. Forgot I could interrupt hex or lasso. Felt silly.

I constantly die to EZ-mine nodes because I always think “I have time for another piece of ore!”. Effectively paying more out of my pocket.
Thank god my gold balance stops at 5 digits!
It’s a good idea to use Warbank to store your gold and only keep on you a “small” amount exactly to avoid these issues.

Just stand inside of them.
Standing in front of the SW portal on a horde character and wondering why it isn’t working when it usually does forgettign that not all my characters are Alliance

Oh I hate that!
It sucks being like “Hey, we’re finally winning” and the game ends and you see “DEFEAT”
My recent fail was after clearing a legacy raid in the Dragonflight expansion, after we killed the last boss they asked me for a portal so I was like “Hell yeah I can make a portal why do you think I rolled a mage?”
A bunch of us ended up in Ironforge.

Mixing up tuesdays and wednesdays and getting home and launching WoW excitedly to “check the vault”.
Took me around 5 mins wondering why nothing was showing before brain.exe kicked back in.

Pretty much forgetting that the interrupt of Feral also makes you charge to a target. And the target which did a significant cast stood in a circle which leads to fatal damage when it kicks in. And you can guess it, yep, I charged straight in when the AoE was kicking in. Leaped straight to my death.

Just started farming the Garnet Razorwing mount in Korthia after a long break. My hunter is now much higher gear, so of course I killed Reliwik before she reached me then fell off the cliff trying to loot the corpse.

My greateast everyday fault since SL was released, that out of nostalgia and addiction I still play retail, even it becaming distant and worse with each patch and expansion vs the Warcraft universe I knew and loved in the past.
On my fresh paladin, I decided to buy a trinket with chips. After completing the 5 dungeon weekly, I got the same trinket in the chest. At the time, it was the only heroic piece I had equipped. Should’ve bought the trinket after that quest. 
Died in TOP at last boss twice… after training the same dungeon for few runs before that run and having no big mistakes.
I have something similar with my pres evoker on their main single target heal… It is so hard to adjust after playing other healers

Nooooooooooooo, my first staff in season 2 from the weekly vault was a heroic staff, WITH INTELLECT.
