If I play wow and watch YouTube on my second screen, It will stop and start buffering even If part of the movie is already pre loaded.
Today something new happened, Its now also affecting my wow.

my internet is working perfectly fine.

my system
RTX 2070
AMD ryzen 7 5800x3d
32Gb ram

Monitor 1 ( for playing wow )
Dell S3220DGF

Monitor 2 ( Youtube )
Samsung S27R65

I tried with and without hardware Ex

thank you

There was a similar thread a couple months back where someone had the same issue as you describe.

It was apparently being caused by running the two monitors on different resolutions and refresh rates.

I just replaced my old 2nd display (60Hz) with a new one (144Hz, same as my main display) to get rid of the problems caused by different refreshrates.

2 things i had happen with the old display:

-In DX11 the framepacing would feel very off if i had a 60FPS video playing on the 2nd display (no problem in DX12 though)
This is a known problem when using displays with non matching refreshrates

-The other thing was, that was really weird, sometimes when watching a video on YT or Twitch on the 2nd display and playing WoW, the video would just randomly switch quality to 360P or the lowest for no reason (1000Mbit Inet here and no problem when not playing a game).

Tldr; have you tried if the problem persists in DX12?

Thanks for answering,

I would be really sad If this is the reason, because I don’t need a good monitor just to watch youtube :frowning: .
