With ZA once again releasing at midnight Thursday to Friday … because reasons … when will the first reset occur? 3 days from release or 3 days from maintenance day?

I was wondering the same. We need to plan the incoming raids and right now we’re not really sure of how the first reset will work.

ill tell you how it works, it resets on 22th which is patch release date, and then on the 25th (it releases 1 am on the 25th)
March 24 at 3:00 pm PDT ZA release i believe

No, the OP has a valid point.
There is absolutely ZERO reason what so ever for Blizzard to be releasing raids on a Thursday night on the European realms.
They did the same with Phase 3, because we had to wait for the Asian realms to have their maintinence for some unknown reason.

But people are gonna be decked out after a couple runs in ZA anyway so like… it doesn’t really matter, you don’t have to minmax it that hard lol.

Just curious if people can do a run on Fri/Sat and still have the lockout available for Sunday to do a few guild groups.

That wasn’t low level content. And when SWP gets released at a stupid time, that also won’t be low level content.
Not the point. Raid content should be released on patchday, not at stupid o’clock at night on a Thursday just to appease the Asian gamers.

So now scheduling raids, as part of a guild or a pug group, is minmaxing?

I would think chances are very high the 3 day reset of ZA would be the same as the current one in ZG. Just a thought.
That doesn’t change the fact that people still schedule ZA groups on Discord, rather than logging into the game and make a ZA pug in the same way you make a SP HC group, and thus they would be glad to know what reset times look like to plan things out a little bit.
I found the answer on reddit : ZA should have the same 3-day reset as ZG/AQ20 and thus will reset on Friday morning. I hope this can help some people out there trying to plan incoming raids.
