Why can’t zandalari Troll be a death knight? Dark iron dwarfs can be death knights and they are allied races. it would be an amazing add to the death knight races for the horde. The zandalari Melee animation is just truly gorgeous, and there Transmog would fit them so well it would be a waste of they can’t be a death knight.

They should be able to since a lot of Zandalari emmisaries were all over the place at the time, but that’s not the case.
Same goes for Dark Irons, but they can’t be either.
okay that is kinda fair, but still it would be a waste to not make them a death knight. There fighting animation is really amazing, And Death knights are all bout Melee.

They could simply make it strict, When you play as a hero class the heritage armor won’t unlock at 110/120 on and only level 20’s unlock the heritage

basically giving them some new color skins and different color of hair and they can be death knights. They scrapped warlocks, Fine there not really nice in casting so make it up and give a death knight in the replacement I would say.
I hope they add DK to allied races at some point. All the zandalari warlock hype and then turns out they can’t even be warlock so now I can’t even throw my money at blizzard if I wanted to. At least DKs are just dead dudes ressed by the king himself, bolvar could do that.
I am not sure but why can’t sylvanas raise them as death knight actual? since she raises the dead too?
I’ll second Zandalari Death Knights.
They fit to the lore, so there shouldn’t be a valid reason other than “We don’t want to do so” on the Blizzards end because after all, its their game.
To avoid favourtism, giving Dark Iron option to be Death Knights would solve the differences (Boohoo, why horde gets this and that) and making Heritage unable to be achieved when making a hero class. I don’t think a race set should be a limiting factor of adding unique start-zone classes, because you simply can make a Race Change/Boost/etc to be unable to get said set and have max level character.
Heck, they made Zandalari paladins as people yelled at them to do so, without making so much sense / alterations to the lore which this game is based upon. -> Roleplaying game.
Every race that gets released later should be able to be Death Knights if they existed that time and can be proven to be in the Lich Kings army. Race such as Kul Tiran, sure. There might’ve been Kul Tirans aswell, because they didn’t alter so much from the normal humans, now, making a new model and Kul Tirans having the normal version and the new one can suffle a deck a bit.
TL;DR Yes, bring Zandalari Death Knights.
