Hey, I was wondering why almost all the other races have a huge variety of haircuts and hair colours when Zandalari trolls(at least male) have extremely few styles and colors, that according to myself and a good amount of other people that I´v heard “look weird and unfitting”. There are no epic hairstyle for the male zandalari, all we got was a bunch of receding hairlines with extremely thin and flat hair, and some weird looking short styles. I think the model is awesome and the faces look cool, but having a cool hairstyle is important in a rpg game. I among many friends would like to see variety of some more volumy and longer epic hairstyles that that are so characteristic for trolls. Does anyone else agree?
I am happy that Blizzard are putting more focus on customizations, but it feels like you have been leaving some of the allied races behind. some of them get released with a very small variety of customizations. But hey, at least I’m not playing nightborne hehe…(poor guys)
I am pretty fine fine with Zandalari hairstyles to be honest, I’d say we have game’s most unique hairstyles.
Only thing that was Lacking is bald option for the females, and we will get in SL hopefully!
If I were you I’d complain about the Darkspear troll hairs tbh, as I was hoping for dreads and etc but you got none, chances of me changing to the darkspear has lowered for 40% from 100%.
The amount of customization options is inversly proportional to the amount of playable races introduced in one expansion. This why Pandaren had the most hair and facial hair styles when they were first introduced. It was the only race so they could put more work into it. If they have to make more, like 8 or 10 then they can dedicate less time for one race.
Now with new customizations they had a lot of work. They haven’t added anything new to Zandalari trolls becasue there wasn’t time to do that. They haven’t finished current customizations they had planned yet. They are in the process of making all the druid form customizations currently. I think Allied Races will receive some more in upcoming Shadowlands patches. You just can’t do everything at the same time, they had to prioritize and older races needed it more.
Yea that makes sense. I am glad they focused on the older races. It would be nice if they had released Zandalari trolls and Nightborne as a finished product though, and not left them for years with the problems people had with them since the start.
