not sure if a bug but when i use it and then use the portal, if i try to go back to the peak later its still on return depsite not being in the peak
It’s not a bug, it’s on return until you use the return to go back to where you ported from.
I get that just that it’s stupid. If I leave via other means it should reset.
I think you can click off the zen pilgrimage buff if you want to reset it? Personally I like it that it doesn’t auto reset since it lets me use zen pilgrimage to go visit Stormwind and after return back to wherever I was.
