Zero excuse not to put recolours CM sets in Pandaria remix

No thanks, prestige can stay as prestige. If you didn’t play, then too bad. MOP classic will be waiting for you when it finally comes out, if you didnt bother. too bad, your fault. They can just make new sets instead. It doesn’t matter how many people were boosted, its about the integrity of keeping limited time rewards as limited. PVP or PVE

If you really want a recolour, go earn your order hall mog from legion its there waiting for you.

Prestige?:rofl::rofl::rofl: thousands bought them with gold and real money.

Yeah and? People still do it today, with gold and or real money. Nothings changed, so the premise shouldn’t change anyway. You always see clowns carried by class wearing rewards they dont deserve, but it doesn’t warrant casuals getting a free second swab at a reward they were too lazy to get

I could carry on this post, but this is more of a pointless argument than a actual debate so i wont reply again, people are just whining/begging/trying to bargain for mog they were too inept to get at the time or didnt even play the game at that point and are having their beliefs offended by the premise of prestige being a thing.

You’re welcome to disagree, but your opinion shouldnt tarnish what other people have worked for.

:rofl::rofl: Those casuals bought them.

Following your logic, world first mythic fyrakk kill is flawed, because now i can buy it for gold. Yes ?

I would love to get the CM recolors, there is no reason for the recolors to not be available from some sort of challenge in remix.

People who did it back then still have the originals and the achievement to prove it, it’s been 14 years, give others including people who were not even born in mop a chance to get those sets.

Imagine if they started removing raid tiers after each xpack people would lose their minds

Challenge Mode Sets = Rewards from X limited time event from the past.
X event is gone = Rewards are gone as well.

There is your excuse.

it’s a poor excuse FOMO kills the longevity of the game also counterargument
CM sets were rewards for a limited time in the past.
Remix is currently an event from said time frame.

It’s the perfect opportunity to re introduce the sets in the recolored format
And we know that these events always has a chance to come back at a later date since everything blizzard makes these days are all evergreen content

Here is a problem with recolors. When i see someone wearing challenge mode set or WOD gladiator set (they had unique models back then) i know what it’s for, it has value for me. But if they add recolors then i wont be able to tell a difference anymore (Is it OG one ? Or is it recolor ?). So in my opinion those sets should stay as they are, inique and unobtainable, to keep their value.

Well that is exactly what’s happening to elite pvp sets for alot of expansions now. And no one loosing their mind about it, because everyone how it works. And we knew that we won’t be able to get these challenge mode sets after MOP is over…

Why do you think blizzard actually need’s an “excuse” to make a decision ?

FOMO been in this game since the beginning. This year it celebrates it’s 20th birthday.

I mean the recolors are vastly different compared to the originals and honestly if you can’t tell the difference between the OG and the recolor then do you honestly ask your self do you really care?

Because it’s PVP which is a game mode, no one cares about in this game, try and do the same with PvE and people would lose their minds.

And there is a reason they are gradually putting unobtainable items back like the TCG items as well as others in the trading post and has been an overall success and the reason blizzard is not putting in any more FOMO in to the game and everything will be evergreen.

I don’t care about these sets as such. I care about unique stuff stays unique. Because i feel like these kind of requests won’t stop untill everything can be obtained again. From perspective nothing will have a value in this game anymore.

So they remove elite sets because nobody cares about pvp ? Or maybe they remove them because they want people feel rewarded with something special ?

From my point of view there is alot of FOMO stuff that is gone. And the stuff they put on trading post is more like a drop in the ocean. To get all FOMO stuff back through trading post we will have to wait for decades…

What are you talking about ? Plunderstorm rewards are FOMO. Pandaria Remix rewards are FOMO. Keystone hero is FOMO, cutting edge/ahead of curce is FOMO. And Trading post probably is a biggest fomo of all times…
FOMO is just a tool to keep players subscribed. And if its gone… i can tell for myself that i wouldn’t be subcribed for that long as i have now. More likelly pay for month or two, get everything done and stay calm for not loosing anything. I don’t believe blizzard will go that way.

It is bought, the real money and gold goes into it is quiet a lot.

This is about re-colours of CM modes that many people bought and didn’t earn.

There is a toy for horde you cant get anymore but they brought that back.

Plunderstrom will come back with additional seasons, so will remix the little FOMO content there is in the game is just achievement with a title at most or mount reskins of already existing ones, there is nothing major like unique armor sets.

The only value is the value you made up in your own head nothing has any value, it’s just pixels, at the end of the day.
And one day the game will shut down for good and all will be lost, you need to let go of these things.
If you want the game to keep growing and strive, gating things will only alienate new players to the game.

No, and I don’t agree that they should be removed, keep them for all I care the reason people don’t care about them being limited is because they come from PVP.
And they would never farm those anyway out of a dislike of PVP or the fact that the PvP game mode is dead content in retail and people are okay with them having their petty gear and mounts.

I mean, they are doing it faster and faster, and I don’t mind waiting

Like a said, a drop in the ocean. Way too early to say that they are ditching fomo.

Then why people fighting for these sets to come back ? I mean it’s not the only thread on that subject. Looks like it has some value after all, even to you ?

Scarcity and rarity creates value.

When you see another player run around with a generic/free set from trading post you dont give a f because the set is common/garbage , free4all and has default 0 value.

On the other hand when you see someone having something rare or unique or non obtainable it catches your attention instant.

Stop ‘crying’ and acting like toddler, asking for pixels to come back then.
It’s just pixels after all so who cares at the end of the day.

So you telling me new players are not gonna sub to WoW because they cant get an item from 2012-2013?
Are you delusional by any chance?

Many might do yes, there have been many straws in this game that have stomped all over the camel.

Sure, I’d love some more recolours.

And just in case anyone decides to get extra sweaty about muh prestige, do note that we already have CM recolours in the game; it’s the Legion class sets, lmao.
