The price of voodoo dolls from ZG for certain classes is getting out of hand, and makes it more difficult and pricey for some classes to obtain than others.
On my server you can get mage/warlock idols for 3-5g and druid-idols go for 300g+ and shaman 450g+. And while I don’t mind them being inherently pricey, they should be roughly the same price for all classes. They are already difficult to get your hands on what with everyone needing idols, idols being the by far the #1 reserved item on softres.it, across the board.
While I understand the need for the dolls to be class specific due to the trinket, I suggest adding a vendor to ZG or Yojamba that lets you trade in any one voodoo doll for one of your own class. Or change the ZG enchant quest and forego dolls altogether and leave them for the trinkets.

The price of dolls is determined by supply and demand.
The expensive ones (druid and paladin) have huge demand because they’re the most played class; I.E. more people want them.
As for supply; rogues and druids can solo farm them, but the druids that do likely keep the druid dolls for themselves. Assuch, less of those in supply compared to the others.
While I understand supply and demand, it doesn’t make my point less valid. In no way should it be 100-200x times more expensive for a druid or shaman to buy an enchant, than a mage or warlock.

if you understand supply and demand, you probably also understand the concept of scalping.
people buy out the druid/shaman/paladin dolls to post for way higher prices, knowing full well that there’s a lot of potential customers who NEED to get them.
they are simply taking advantage of the high demand (and thus the low supply) which pushes the price way higher.
and guess what; they are making sales.
if you can get a doll for 200g and sell it for 400g, you’d do it right?.. well, there you go.
Because if demand is less then supply (for classic other then druid/shaman) then price will be almost 0. People farming dolls for druid/shaman/(or pala on alliance), lets say you get 10 dolls for each class after some time of farm, then you sell 10 of each of those druid/shaman dolls for 300 gold, but for other dolls lets say only 5 people want to buy them, so you lower then price… (or just destroy some of the dolls because it’s just too long to sell them for 2 gold and not worth your time)
Reason of so high demand of dolls for hybrid classes is because they play multiple specs, and have multiple sets of gear to enchant
you can do zg with 5player now , just go with a decent group wtf
You guys are missing the point. What you say is perfectly true. However the OP did not ask why it happened, he is asking for alternate way to obtain the dolls because it’s probably bad game design when some classes need to pay literally x100 times more for the same enchant
Because you play overpowered class so please pay for it. I think that’s fair.
