I want to explore Bloodmyst Isle and Azuremyst isle for the achievement. I know that I have to find Zidormi in Darkshore so she can take me back in time and I can take the portal to Bloodmyst. My character is level 43 but I can’t find Zidormi anywhere in Darkshore. Is this a bug or is there a requirement to be able to see her? I previously saw her in Blasted Lands and was able to go back in time, so I don’t see why I can’t do that now.
She should be the speech bubble on the map. She’s a bit away from the coast.
Yeah I saw the speech buble in Blasted Lands, but there’s no speech bubble in Darkshore. I’ve looked everywhere for her but she’s missing.
Do you have the village of lor-Danel?
Is the teldrasil island on fire?
Yes I have the village and yes Teldrassil is on fire.
That’s really odd, when you press m for the map she should be there, do you have any addons that could be removing the speech bubble?
Hi Mérylina,
I’m going out on a limb here, but am wondering if this has to do with the new strangeness that comes with world-scaling since pre-patch?
Is this your very first character? If yes, the world is scaled to content from the latest expansion, BfA, which means access to the old version of Darkshore is restricted until level 50.
If you’ve leveled a character to 50 already (and maybe it’s worth checking out even if not), try and visit Chromie in Stormind and change your phase to Cataclysm, as that should theoretically reset the world to pre-BfA state.
If Chromie doesn’t give you that option, I’m guessing you have to wait until level 50 to be able to change timelines through Zidormi.
Again, the above is speculation, but maybe it helps
Ohh that could actually be it. I don’t have a level 50 character yet, and this character is level 43. Maybe I have to be level 50 first to access Zidormi in Darkshore.
Great, well those last few levels shouldn’t be a big deal then.
If it’s not out of your way, you can still give it a try with Chromie now (obviously in Orgrimmar, not sure why I sent you to Stormwind before ), but I’m guessing she won’t give you the option to switch.
Also, very minor sidenote here for once you get to exploring: Azuremyst and Bloodmyst are alliance only territory that don’t allow flying mounts, so watch out for guards especially around towns and cities, as it’s ground mount only. Both areas are beautiful though, so you’re in for a treat!
