just was curios what the timer is for the zombie invasion
today in org with 1 of my chars i had some fun killing the plague rates and turned into a zombie had try to spread as much as possible but later that day wanted to do it with a friend since he was pretty new to the game and never saw the WOTLK pre event so this would be a fun first
but sadly i couldn’t find anymore plague rats or crates when he came online so was wondering if some1 knows the timer on those?
I would really like to know that too.
I saw my friend having fun with it and now I want to try it, but seems that the rats, zombies or crates aren’t even spawning. I saw him do it just a few hours ago.
Is it on a timer or something? I would like to cause some fun also.
no 1 has any info on how to trigger the even or make the plageu vermin respawn before the event is over? just want to have some fun before the event gos away for good
Its so ridiculous that there’s not a single info, walkthrough or datamine about how this even triggers.

If it is such a thing, I’d like to know so that I can time my playing to avoid it. I’m trying to level a new character. 1st time I wasn’t even looking at my screen and I died, I was like, WHAAAATT the hell was that all about??
Second time I suddenly turned into a zombie - no clue why. I notice I have some new controls so I try it on someone. One hit, I’d dead. OK, that was a huge waste of time - back to the corpse we go.
3rd time it happened. OK time to log off. This is pointless.
If you’re going to add something like this please don’t flag a level 6 player for PvP in a very busy area!
Yeah seen the rats running once in Org. 2008 event was a lot clearer on how to get infection.
My best advice is to find places like org rear gate where ghouls are spawning infinitively if one npc has been turned and get the infection from there, or searching a zombie raid in LFG tool.
