GW wasn’t based only on PvP it was a pillar of it tho could go PvP without even making a Pve toon They even had separate skill powers, same skill different action in PvE/PvP was a great game.
It’s only a few days of bosses too. No need for the namecalling.
It goes both ways. The part of the event YOU like is not more important than the part of the event that SOMEONE ELSE likes.
Well said dear night elf
I dont use Warmode either but yeah you can still be infected and pvp toggled… it’s abit shizz really.
This was my experience too but someone questioned it so I was curious what others were finding
And you shouldn’t
And should report the griefer in question
No, But it was its strongpoint.
Oh you should see SW:ToR’s Rakghoul event
Now THAT is a real zombie menace!
Take a quick thinking about what you just said there will ya. Nice way to shoot yourself in the foot.
Maybe think an extra time before you make threads complaining about what other people enjoys.
Or should I simply say… Right back at ya!
Me and my mates got turned into ghouls many times right before killing Nathanos, we didnt get our loot.
We tried until we managed it.
Not a big deal.
Use brain.
Ride wife.
Life good.
Zombies now griefing bosses in Icecrown
1 - Griefing Bosses? Really?
2 - Have any of the Bosses posted a complaint yet on the forum?
And 3 - AWESOME! … that brings back memories.
And on Nathanos that’s fine because he spawns again very quickly. On the rares in ice crown however, the same one doesn’t spawn again for 3hours and 20 minutes, so missing a chance to loot (in a limited time event) is much more disruptive. A lot of people are interested in getting the 34 slot bag and being zombified and unable to loot is meaning that they miss out on an opportunity.
Maybe not everyone is a zombie fan like I am. I understand that. But then I’m not a fan of Anne Rice, yet have two years of Venthyr bobbins to avoid as much as is possible.
WoW is a cultural magpie, with themes borrowed from all over the place. Hardly a single variation of fantastical fiction has been left untapped. Enjoying WoW means looking past the themes that don’t appeal to you personally. If you can’t do that, then you should find a different game.
Zombie lore is very clear on this. Zombies are the ultimate griefers. They care only for human flesh (and in this case, dwarf, elf, orc etc). They will camp you for weeks if it is their wish, just because they can smell that you are nearby. And of course you can’t just turn off PvP against zombies.
It is a shame that some people are so invested on the simple “kill boss, get drop” mindset that they can’t look beyond that.
Quoted for truth.
I love standing some place on fleet where the infected seek you out and a few seconds before they explode I pop the vaccine relic, wasting their time. Fun stuff
t is a shame that some people are so invested on the simple “kill boss, get drop” mindset that they can’t look beyond that.
When you have no way to cure an infection in time, it sure as hell is fundementally wrong to look at it another way?
… rofl
There is usually several groups in LFG, join one of those to change shard. It’s really no effort at all to avoid that.
Yes, it just happened to me and many others at Putricide. None of us got loot and it turned into a PVP massacre for those who stuck around too long.
BRAINS !
