Zone Lag is getting out of hand

So, will there be one specific zone every week that is unplayable? Are the developers aware of this issue or is this an intendet part of the “time gating” campaign that seems to be goin on for years.

Yesterday, I thought, maybe it had something to do with your server maintenance. Then I checked the forums and other websites and no, this is an issue happening every week in a different zone, because you force all players into the same zone for quests.

Are you aware how much of a pain it is to farm, quest, kill minions or fish it is whilst having a 2-5 second delay on everything?

I am honestly considering just to cut my losses now and leave this sinking ship. I have played on and off since the very end of TBC but what I experience in SL is probably one of the worst experiences so far, not in regards to WoW but MMOs in general. No other IP gave me this much trouble to actualy play their game, not by a long shot.

If you should wonder why so many people leave this game, this is one of the 100 reasons for it.

Ooooh is THAT why Revendreth is lagging? The story quest? I was so confused because there’s no world boss there. Thank you! Gods sake Blizzord.

Yep, I think the lag has started since Wednesday. Makes it very annoying to do any quests. Yesterday, I just played some other game thinking it was a one time occurrence only, but the lag is still here today.

It is not acceptable because the players are paying a subscription, there hasn’t been any official acknowledgement from blizz about the lag either.

They really really really need to instance things or start removing systems so the code doesn’t have to do 100s of calculations consistently.

Zones are instanced, it’s just seamless.

Not akin to the Argus bosses, which helped remove lag from the zone.

yep - i logged in tonight, lasted less than 5 mins before logging out and coming on the forums for my daily dose of comedy

Will say I thought it was my net as yesterday was horrid on FF14 and today on WoW, turns out both games having server issues. Don’t let me down PoE.

FF14 server code is utter crap, unfortunately. I wish they’d invest in server tech like Blizzard does.

Oh yeah. FF has its moments at times. Limsa during prime at Hangars is dreadful.
