I don’t like to hate on the lore without having the whole thing to read / explore / appreciate.
But I really do think this story, so far, is a mess and doesn’t seem to get better at any point. That’s what we got, and I do agree, it’s very very very weak. And extremely disappointing to know this was Warcraft 3 End Chapter.
I really hope Shadowlands is like MOP and WOD that overtime ended up aging really well. Because if not, it’s on the track to become one of the worst expansions on the game so far.
I am understanding in the part that COVID came to ruin all our lifes, and that includes everyone that works at Blizzard, but saying this story wasn’t already written / defined when the pandemic hit is nonsense. The lack of quality would be on the game content itself, that so far, looks good to me. The whole story is just less meaningful than some of the Side Quests on Vanilla wow.
