A number of the people posting here do not meet the System Requirements for the game which you can find here.

For those of you that do please ensure windows is up to date, your graphics drivers are up to date and you have disabled any background applications which could be causing issues.

For those of you who do not meet the System Requirements, you may wish to request a refund here.

Is there no plan of making a Legacy port? This way even players below system requirement can play together! =D

I dont meet the system requirements?

Same issue, what a cooler.

I have windows 8.1 and 1060 6gb nvidia, same problem here sadly, why windows 10 8.1 isnt enough?

Same issue here, please fix

SOLUTION FOUND Had same issue running win 7. with gtx 750ti The issue for me was it was initiating the game with motherboard video processor (i have multiple monitors and one is plugged into motherboard slot) long story short in device manager disabled the motherboard video processor leaving only the GPU active and game fired right up. good luck hope this helps

it will work that is what i’m running with but its rough lol its time for us to upgrade. I’m getting 12-20 fps. It’s jumpy and not ideal for playing at all honestly its starting to hurt my eyes so i flip back and forth between the 2 modes

same issue, please help make some patch to solve that.

just buy, but cannot play now.

Found a solution to that problem, just start the game in the gamedirectory with D2R.exe not with the resurrection link. As simply as that. Worked for me.

Same issue, no solution working :frowning:

Guys, I had the same issue. But I found a solution for myself. I hope for you to work too.
Go into the folder where the game is located. For me is D:\Games\Diablo II Resurrected.
In the folder find D2R.exe. Right-click on it and go to Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab and check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” then choose “Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)” then click apply and try to run it.

I’m with ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 on Windows 10.

I have the same problem and cant run it too… with my high end laptop.

" Sorry, this order is not eligible for refund.
A penalty has been applied to this account too recently."

And I cant get refund cuz I have a “chat silence” in WoW :open_mouth: What a joke…

is it about directx 12 ? for this reason win 10 is a requirement?
is there any support here? i dont want a refund. i want to play the game.

I’m frustrated and disappointed, my computer has all requiements to play this game but it doesnt even initialized showing that error (Failed to inizialize graphic device. Please ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and your drivers are up to date)
Its pathetic minimum requires w10 and max w10. I have Windows 8.1, intel i7, nvidia 1060 6g, 16g Ram ddr3, all drivers updated and everything is fine. I’m playing sc2 right now waiting to play d2re after 16 years, I dont want a refound, i want to play it ! If You guys in blizzard want to people play this game only in windows 10 after 16 years and all the time in the world to make it compatible with some older OS, it will be to most stupid move in all of yo history after D3 pony level and 15 trillion damage and the auctionhouse
