As many others I was playing an hour or so yesterday when the server issues started. I got rolled back on my sorceress for one Baal run, I lost a pair of magefists and dropped back to (if i remember correctly) level 55 from 56. to bad but not the whole world.
However, logging in this morning, I am greeted by a level 17 sorceress with what seems to be all progress and items found from early act 2 normal to the start of Hell lost. Since i don’t play that often or much this corresponds to weeks of progress (and items) lost!
I see that a other people on the forum have experience the same issues, how many? Have anyone gotten any response from blizzard? I made a ticket this morning but no answer yet.

@Blizzard Time to fix the actual problem instead of extinguishing fires every time the servers go down? Let the servers be down for a day, a week, a month as long as you find the actual problem and fix it.
These problems will have you lose players anyway, so might aswell shut down the servers to fix the actual fault.
Losing items we spend hours for to get and finally get it, and then having it lost due to your shitty servers is a big turnoff for the players.
But isnt it the job of the support to carry over that thousand and tons of complains over to the devs to get their butt’s moving and finally analysing and fixing things?
Can we at least have an explanation why some of us lost a whole week of progression but other just a few levels or even nothing? No backups, no way to restore rollbacks… This sounds like random chaos. Why would I ever trust playing and wasting time on those servers?
People under the terms of blizzard you are not entitled to a refund of any items.
That’s a fact. BUT since we live in Germany or in an EU country, the EU law says that you have a claim to compensation for the damage that has occurred. The items are gone but your damage, I lost time and you have the right to compensation out loud the regulations of the EU. So what you can do is suing Blizzard, even if every 5 would only do it, the millions of lawsuits, the only way to get a large corporation to rethink and change its attitudes and policies.
Put a class action lawsuit
I lost my cube , but point is. Now I fear go find another one.
I mean, i do not trust servers and info stored anymore. There is no manual/guide on how could affect the game, picking again an item that I’m supposed to have.
Hell I do not even know if in the next hours, a small patch or server update could bring back my stuff.
And the same applies for lvling, farming and even diying in game.
