Your character is fine, the server’s down. Once the server comes back online you’ll see your characters again.
happens every day last many days, just wait…u can only play after midnight to noon to avoid these issuse right now…
Played some this morning, logged off. Just logged back in and all 3 toons gone. Either the client fails to return them on login or they’re really wiped. Either way, not nice. Why you treat Hakmud like this buddy?

well i wanted to play the game again today after yesterday evening eu time and now all my chars are gone at least 6 in total.

If you have double checked the Online and Offline tab (the option is in the top right corner of the screen, above the character list): i did but don't have offline chars
The class of the character that you’ve lost: Lvl80 sorc, 5x lvl1 chars full with stuff
The platform you were playing on (PC or console, and if so which one): PC
I do hope you guys will fix this cause this ain’t the way to treath people like this and don’t come with bs of accidently deleted them cause i aint that dumb.

They are not gone… People need to understand that the online characters are stored on the server. The server is down! So they won’t appear because we can’t connect to the server at the moment. Once the server is up and running again, then your characters will all show up to select.
The only thing, is that what ever you may have been doing in the current gaming session before the server issue affected you, will not have saved. So if you found a Ber rune and then realised that the servers were down when you left and went to make a new game. Then chances are that you don’t have the Ber rune, because it wouldn’t have been able to save as you exited the game.
my character was removed due closing the game in chat lobby, i wasnt even in character selection screen and after restart game they were removed. so dont please put this on our shoulder.
i can see option to make new character in online, but thats not solution in technical terms.

Can you guys just make an official statement addressing all the issues with D2R servers already? It would definitely help calming the player base down, at least a little. And assure us that you’re working on some long term solution to prevent this from continuing.

Hi, I cant find a other place to ask for help so i hope this is the right place for it.
The server were bad yesterday resulting in alot of relogging to be able to join or make games. Yesterdaynight (12-10-2021) after alot of relogs i logged back in to see my main sorc (level 88 Homa) missing. I hoped is was because of the network probleems but when i checkt back today its still gone.
Its a online sorc called Homa, my other chars that i didnt play whit that day are still there.

many people write their char was gone and why the hell there is no way that support can bring them back
ofc i can start new char and what 1month play and it will be lost again
in diablo 3 there is an option to bring back chars why not in d2
Because it is not implemented. Even in D2 it didn’t exist. I think it is a way to complicated to save every Character in the Game. Think about it 1 Million Player base und the half of them lose „one“ Character. How should a small team of developers get 500.000 Chars back? It is impossible. I can understand them. In the end it is your choice if u Play or not.
