Ok so the char of my buddy is still lvl 14 probably because he logged of before shutdown. My char is back at the point from 1st shutdown lvl 6. Much much thanks blizzard. You have a f***** online game, why not shoot a msg, like pls log out there will be a shutdown.

Seems like the game only saves your progress when you hit the “exit and save”, why tf don’t they autosave on teleporting and waypoints?
My buddy who played with me as the disconnect happend, still has his level 28 char. So this doesn’t actually make sense

This is bullshit… There was no warning about the incoming server reset, and now character is lvl 5. Seriously, this company needs to get their shit together. We PAID for this, it’s not damn beta!

I’ve played 5-6 hours on PS5. No connection to the online Servers, so I’ve created an offline character. Suddenly the game crashed, small update, logging in back again and nearly all progress is lost.
There was no info I should have logged out earlier or anything. Who could have thought a offline character would get a roll back. I was around level 20 and it jumped back to level 3. It’s nothing what couldn’t be played back again, but it’s so demotivating und frustrating.
Blizz always telled us, they want games which are fun to play. There is no fun when you loose nearly everything you’ve spend time and money for.
I don’t know if I play this game ever again. This is such a terrible release. Similar to WC3R. And it’s embarrassing, that a once great developer releases games which aren’t finished yet or have server issues on release days since they were called Blizzard Entertainment.
The name “Blizzard” stands no longer for games that are fun to play. It stands for terrible releases.
Same here, made it to level 12, then stated connection lost with server. Character now back to level 1. Guess I will wait a few days to see if they fix this, don’t have time and patience to keep redoing the first 10 levels.
I played offline as well because I wanted to avoid server issues until ladder is out, great idea that was. Logged in to see a level 1 Paladin instead of my 26-28 Paladin that I had played for around 6 hours completely with 8 player mode active, can’t say I’m happy.
Is this problem fixed yet? I absolutely love the game so far otherwise, but having “offline” characters rolled back is just absurd.

Played all day/night to get up my hammerdin (offline char) … got disconnected from the game and my char is deleted … i still got the cinematics to watch … wow great! may i have my money back -.-

Took the day off to play D2R and my lvl 18 Offline Pally is not there. The list is empty. I had made steel and stealth and was ready to have a chill day. This suck!

I can’t get a refund because i played too much.
Ironically, i’ve lost a character that was at the end of the first act…
I also lost my offline character.
After playing online for a bit there were server problems, i started over offline, gave my character the same name, killed up to mephisto.
Today i log in and…character gone. the stuff in the shard stash is still there.
Same here, played a moment, then reset from server and boom, character back to level 1 with no gear at all ?
Is there a way to fix this ?

I had played the Game after the Hotfix and played my Nekro to lvl 13 - now i come back online and BAM lvl 3 - thanks Blizzard for nothing u f***ed it up again… i thinks this is the last game i got from u. first WC3 now this…
