Diablo III Error 1016

As I wrote in the first post. I tried D3 on two different PCs

Base on current information, I have no clue about it.

Of course, I’ve tried everything. I have been solving this problem for more than half a year. So far I have at least the USA so I played there. Now I can’t even start the game. I didn’t find anyone anywhere to work it out, so I think it’s Blizzard’s fault

As I said, you can enter a ticket to contact support.
Click “Support” at top right corner of this screen.
Then “Contact Support” on next screen.
Then “Diable III” > “I would rather categorize the issue”
… follows the screen flow.

I did it. So I’ll see what they write to me

Since the last patch update sometime last week, very rarely does the game on my PC go beyond the loading screen. its either disconnect or disconnect followed by error 1016. I even reset my PC. It could be a co-incidence but I’ve never had this 1016 before now,

I still have this error 1016, i have done everything to try and resolve it. For anyone who works at blizzard to say this is other peoples fault is mind boggling. I have spoke with people in the game (whilst error 1016 doesn’t happen) and they’ve even said that they have this problem every so often, mainly after a patch. They, like me, also have stated that no other up to date online game does anything like this, hence it is without doubt a blizzard problem. I love this game, but this error 1016 is the only thing that is ruining it beyond repair. Blizzard we shouldn’t have to ask or give computer details and I say this as respectably as possible: PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ERROR!

I have had this for awhile although Maskraider suggested something useful a few days ago relating to QoS. Disable it in network adapter options and see if that works

Actually this does not work, i have tried battle.net + D3 on 6 Different computers.
All same problem :slight_smile:

whole day waste for me for trying to search all forums for the error 1016, just terrible how they treat to customers, also non of my tickets were answered

to be honest, I have been experiecing the same kind of problem, I mean, not error 1016 but error 1002, and that’s because the EU servers are “down” and I dont get why, I can connect to NA servers but not EU servers and that’s frustating because I have a high ping and it’s kinda unplayable. Therefore I decided to fill a ticket and send it to Blizzard HQ support team whatev but it says error as well, I am started to think that either Blizzard is lazy af or nothing is working anymore in EU from their servers and they only care about NA, talking about from a D3 prespective.

Constant 1016 here too on American server, error signing in, error creating game, etc. all takes me back to login screen…

I have been having this issue since season 19 and they keep saying it is my fault. I have reinstalled game multiple times as well as redid my entire machine. You wont get a reply from the game since they dont GAF

Maybe blizzard does not know how to fix this 1016 error so instead shifting the blame onto our ISP’s until they do get a fix? and then suddenly 200+ ISP Companies problems get sorted over night :wink:
