Doesn’t it seem funny how this always happens over and over again at a specific milestone? I didn’t struggle much past 3 stars d2, when I’m pushed back to d4-5, not only by perfect counters, but by lousy decks and extremely bad draw on my side. It can happen you’d say, I aggree. But that’s not every consequent game. Examples can be drawing all your high cost cards early, one after another, mulligan and replace all cards only to get them back in hand or replaced by similar draw. Last time I played secret mage I got ALL the cards that are activated by secrets, but no secrets and so on.
RNG is RNG indeed. But that RNG is tuned to one’s liking. Casino and slot machines all have “RNG”… which is set up by the owners to what outcome they want to have. And Blizzard does like to add diminishing returns. Yes. Diminishing returns is what’s “rigging” up the game imo.

Yeah this month it really felt like the game was out to get me, I got to D1 9 times before breaking through to Legend.
It’s to do with MMR though, as you win games, you face harder opponents, this coincides with hitting D1 as I’m blasting through the ranks. Then, I get my but kicked as I’m faced again at better players with better decks, usually aggro which drops my MMR so it’s like a see saw.
It felt really bad this month, usually my bouncing around is not this erratic lol, quite stressful though as I started doubting myself big time.

It’s not the play, not the difficulty or how cunning my opponent is, not the deck he’s playing I’m complaining about. It’s the things that happen to me, you, in a subsequent match, once you reach a certain step. Bad draw, everything useless, turn after turn, the impossibility to answer to my opponent, because of the 20% of cards I have in my deck, ment for 4-5+ mana turns. And you get them ALL one by one early game. As I said, it can happen, just lol at it. But not the next game too, then the next one again. This has happened too many times in the exact same circumstances, to classify it as just some random stuff.

Last 34 games = 2 priest…i repeat 2 priest as a mage. so where is the biiiiig blizzard random? This game is so f.kin rigged and cheated by blizzard you can’t imagine

Is this whole thread a joke? You realize that for you to lose someone else has to win right? So what, Blizzard just doesn’t like you? You know you can mulligan your cards right? Activision is money hungry but what benefit do they get from making you frustrated so you leave and never want to come back?

If you are near a milestone (need 1 win for next 5 limit), you have bad cards on draw through rounds and enemy just get the right ones - ez lose, to force you go back on the ladder

blud I know what manz mean. I feel like I should been winning 80% of the games I play but only win like 50% cos the RNG algo’s make you lose unless you spend some dolla on this game. big up.
You ever consider you’re just not as good as you think you are?
People run to legend at the start of the season all the time, why can’t you? The game isn’t rigged against them? Just you right? If you’re saying the game stops you from winning you’re just deflecting from your poor performance.

Saying RNG is stopping you from winning is different from saying the game is actively sabotaging my climb by putting me against decks I don’t do well against.

There’s one reason why this thread is full of nonsense:
To make all this stuff in the first post true, you’d require a ton of work to make it happen.
Activision Blizzard is lazy. Easier to have a simple MMR algorithm they use in practically all online games with skill based matchmaking and have the people who make up boogeymen to protect their pride make noise.
Best of all, those people do it for free.

How do you hit legend when you’re getting kept in the same place? You have to consistently win to achieve legend since there is no win streak bonus.
