Cant see characters, icon, cant play, this play mode is currently disabled

Hello,
I really need help. When i log in to the game cant see my acc icon, when press play i dont see any characters to choose, cant choose anyone and when i hold mouse on play button it writte This play mode is currently disabled.

I tried many guides what i found on google and here to fix that but nothing helped.
I tried: set up firewall, delete variables, delete temporary blizz folders and cache, changed DNS settings to google and Flush DNS, change game region, tried scan and repair… still nothing

please if is there any solution that i didnt try let me know.

Hello again,

Try and delete the Variables.txt from the Documents\Heroes of the Storm file path. Once done, open the Blizzard Desktop App and click the blue logo at the top left. Click on Settings and from the new window, click on Game Settings. Find Heroes of the Storm, and click on Reset In-Game Options.

Once done, start the game up again and test it out.

i saw it yesterday here All game mode disabled - #4 by Kiemmaki so i tried it but nothing

I reinstalled the game, and it didnt help at all.
I will unistall now, cause I see that you cannot help me at all and there is no other helpfull information online.

Sorry to hear you are still having trouble with this. Your WinMTR tests show a lot of packetloss unfortunately, which could be causing these problems. Please test once more after thoroughly going through all the steps listed in the Connection Troubleshooting Support Article.

Hi I am having the same issue started after ur last patch a few day ago. I can get into game but once in i cannot start a game, the start match button is greyed out. sometimes the shop is available other times not. The portraits r never available and I cannot load up my profile if i click where my portrait should be in the top right. Sometimes my heroes r all visible othertimes not. I hav ebeen playing for a number of months and I have not changed anything on my side. Please help!!!

Just to add, I am really irritated because i have a stim pack active which I purchased and have not been able to play for the last few days. So money wasted!

Same issue, when i get in to the game I have no portrait, all modes are disabled, no shop, I cannot see any heroes in the character select, I cant view my profile. I can only chat in the game. Someone please find a fix!

I have just tested the game at my brothers house who has ADSL but a very slow line and it works. I play on LTE at my place which is much faster than the ADSL and it has worked well until this issue started last week

I’ve had a similar issue for a couple months but it always loaded after a few minutes. Just logged in now and nothing has loaded after 20m, cant start a game or see my heros. Ive read the comments and suggestions above and it all seems unhelpful and confusing. Can you guys just fix your game for me, it seems like every time theres a new patch there is an issue.

Your WinMTR shows data loss within your ISPs network. I would suggest you contact them with this data and ask them to look into it.

If it works at your brothers house, but not on your line, there must be an issue with your connection at home. Have you tried running aWinMTR to see where the issue is?
