same happened to me i was done with a comp game but it was POTG wich i didnt care about so i got a 15 minute time out i didnt think anything of it and now i have a ban for the whole season 10

i got banned today , this bug is crazy , hope to get my account sbanned as fast as possible never seen anything like this in OW1.

Yeah, same thing. Got “Failed to connect to server” yesterday, got banned for 15 minutes and now banned for the remaining of Season 10.

Well, I need to add something else Tyrskorn… I paid for the season pass. And I got banned for no reason. I am pretty sure it’s not about insulting, behavoiur, nor afk, cheating etc. Because I am not that way. However I read “server error” before a 15’ ban while I was playing with a friend. Let me add some details: we were on the queue. Then it said “partida encontrada” (game found) and then returned to the main menu and the message in the screen saying “error al conectar al servidor” (error to connect to the server).
Then, I never left and got the season ban. And I payed the season pass. It is almost a fraud if you look into it legally: a customer that pays for a service that doesn’t receive on top of 2 other considerations:
a) the impossibility to play competitive
b) the items and rewards that you can only obtain playing and that you paid for.
So, I would like to everyone who is my situation, who paid, to be restored and to have a compensation for the time lost. Not to mention that you are looking into it but we do not even know if we will be able to play again (if you are going to solve it).

My account has been Banned from Competitive and i know why but this is completely unfair.
Yesterday i had twice in a row that when i searched for a game and found one that i got a error and it did not connect and i did not even get something like Join game, All i could do was requeue.
So i did this and then the same thing happened again.
Then i restarted the game and i had a Suspension of 15 minutes.
After this suspension had passes i played atleast a dozen of games without any problems.
Now today i start up the game and i got a Season 10 Ban because the server thinks i left a game twice in a row while it was the server who gave an error while i was joining and had no way of joining the game it found for me.
This was beyond my power and that is why i find it totally unfair that i got a Season Ban.
i would really love this to be changed and let me play again.
I mean i really am for the whole idea of those who leave a game multiple times in a row that they get banned but please be in mind that this is something i couldn’t do anything about and now i’m one of those who are paying a price for something i did not do.
And it seems alot of honest players are paying the price aswell.
I would like to have a answer about this matter as soon as possible.

The same thing happened to me. I’m really disappointed because I’ve been playing for years and never leave the game when I’m fed up or lose.

I’m afraid we don’t have any specifics to share just yet, but I do wanted to clarify a few points.
- There were some intentional updates to leaver penalties with the start of season 10 and at least some players are likely to be correctly restricted based on the new criteria. For the full details on what’s changed, check out the patch notes.
- Leaver Penalties are different from other actions like suspensions and account bans. If you’re able to play as normal but can’t queue for some game modes it’s a Leaver Penalty. If you can’t play at all, it’s a Suspension/Ban. We’re currently only looking into Leaver Penalties and we have no reason to believe any other account actions have been issued incorrectly.

Logged in i got banned for season 10 without any explaination. I played a total of 4 games in this season and didnt leave a single one. Please explain that…

So if im banned completly out of comp but can play other game modes its a leaver penalty? When will this be fixed as ive only left one game and i now cant play for the rest of the season just like hundreds of other people.

I wish blizzard would make this more apparent that this is a bug, like on their twitter account or their Battle.net client.

Me and my friend have the ban too.
We were thrown out of a round and couldn’t rejoin and had to restart the game. We had to wait 15 minutes and the next day we were both banned.
